This is not true. I provided them with my social, which is another form of id here, my expired passport, my drivers license, they just want me to provide an ACTIVE [passport. Thats the only thing they are accepting.

Thank you for the explanation, I presumed it was an ongoing or recent process but did not go back in the pages to check as it could have been a time consuming process while I am concentrating on the Premier League football games. In the end, there are terms and conditions that exist on every casino/gaming website. If someone believes the rules are unfair then they should leave that website and find an alternative.

Your case with your document is very specific and simply does not apply to 99.9% of other users. With standard documents such as passports, you don't have the problem you describe here.

Aside from what was mentioned above - casinos also request users to undergo KYC because of cheater and those that are trying to abusing the system to gain access to things that they are not supposed to. In the generic sense I am against any online entity asking for KYC (casinos, exchanges, etc) because of the risks involved if/when they get hacked and because of the dangers of legal personal identification documents being sold on the black market and shared between criminal gangs.

Having said that, if any entity requests KYC in order to continue using their services they should at the very least allow those customers that do not want to continue being their customer the opportunity to withdraw their funds before closing the account. In your situation, I would double and triple check the casino's terms of use to see whether the casino in question (you mention several, so I'm not assuming that this only affects BC.Game?) allows access via VPN or for players from your country at all.

If this is not the case and you continue to play, this can certainly lead to problems if you want to withdraw money, as more intensive account checks are then usually carried out, which would also notice access via VPN and co.

Such cases have often been the reason for scam accusations against casinos in the past ...

Well, it happens to all of us at some point. I took care of it right at the beginning actually. Had no problem using my Japanese ID card, even though I am German. All went automated and was confirmed like 1 hour later.
Hopefully you can get your issue solved fast, I know waiting for something like that can be annoying. You should ask your host, they reply MUCH faster than the normal support.

Bc used to be accessible without a vpn. When they changed that my vip host reached out to me before it happened and told me to get a vpn to continue playing. So everyone was very aware of the situation. This happened years ago.
