Look at reddcoin it was like 2 sats on polo now its 50 sats since delisting. BCN will be better off

Polo probably scared by the margin possibilities, I believe you can magin BCN on polo right? if price explodes then millionaires galore

is bcn usable and mineable right now?

This is the one major risk that Polo doesn't like. Yes, you can do margin trading. Like you say, if the price suddenly explodes, they will have a flash crash or flash boom. GDAX happened this way even with ETH. I think others want to avoid that.

I agreed, this is same thing happened to DSH, DSH price is higher than poloniex delisted price right now. But of course it is good if BCN still listed in poloniex, but if dev does not want to do anything on it, then we can help nothing on it.

Yes, BCN is still mineable, I'm using one thread of my CPU to mine it 24/7. Or do you mean if it is profitable to mine?

Don't know why delisting on Poloniex is the end of the world. So many coins delisted from there are surviving well. The more centralisation like polo, the more people get lost about how decentralised currency work.

I am hoping more people will join the byteball project.
Is there any real world use cases being developed on the byteball platform?

Wrong project. This is not byteball. This is Bytecoin.

Hi, are you in wrong channel or you trying to promote byteball?

Back to topic, it is nice to see the price of BCN did not drop much due to wallet issue at Poloniex.

The project is normal. But there are many nuances that you need to finish. The coin certainly fell in price but I think it's temporary.

Bytecoin is a wickedly awesome project, I do genuinely hope and wish that this project has more massive success <3 That would just be soooo great!

DSH WAS the first and only BCN's 100% clone.

Now DSH seems will die very soon because of MG fork and hitbtc support of this fork.

Ya, I saw that news about DSH by minergate, but I did not know hitbtc will support minergate's fork... Minergate forked it because did not aware of new wallet released by DSH, and keep mining in old blockchain for weeks. DSH dev refused to work out with minergate, and therefore minergate forked it to a brand new DSH (BTW, what is this coin calling? Dash Classic?)... Sounds like a joke to me  Grin

Dashcoin will remain as Dashcoin its ticker will remain DSH, besides DSH is also called "true dash"..there is and always one "true"

Let minergate make their own name concoction for dashcoin...fork off minergate.

We should get at least a feedback from the Poloniex about the situation with the BCN

How BCN dev are able to solve the problem if  poloniex support answers to no one. I don't think that they have a special "code" to get to the Poloniex...

That's why I urge you to try to get in touch with the poloniex support. MB we will able to unblock BCN with our own force

Rewarded will be everyone who get any feedback from the Poloniex dev about situation with  BCN.
And the special super reward for the one who unblock BCN

We already have a forked BCN and that's called XMR. Anyone not happy with this coin's development can easily switch to XMR. I personally prefer to let the devs do their job, whether they communicate regularly or not.

Yup XMR is the no.1 fork and DSH is the first and only BCN's 100% clone.

I agreed so, bytecoin dev friend's message to poloniex is useless for helping. Poloniex will only entertain real bytecoin dev. If dev had no will to continue it, then it is good to take over bytecoin from dev.

I was the one who was trying my best to catch poloniex attention by sending tweets and emails as bytecoin dev's friend. So who the real dev?

No one knows who is the real BCN dev.

I've tried to get to the Poloniex dev via Linkedin but I guess they have build a big Chinese wall between their users and team.

But I want to remind everyone about Poloniex bounty. For one who unblocks BCN on Poloniex or makes a huge step to it will be big reward!

Antonio Juarez  aka amjuarez is the primary dev, but I don't think he is on this forum - https://github.com/amjuarez/bytecoin

Here is the last code update he did back in June - https://github.com/amjuarez/bytecoin/commit/1d48dc274048787b7a95814e216c61a1a7307ef1

I don't quite understand, since we have the source code of the wallet at https://github.com/amjuarez/bytecoin, and yet the real dev did modification on coding last month. So, what is the problem now? Just ask Antonio Juarez to fix the bug, or if real dev had no intention to continue development, someone can take over the bytecoin, modify source code from git and fork with bug fix. Or if real dev do not want to continue the development and yet do not want to hand over bytecoin to anyone in the earth. Someone can hard fork the source code to a new BCN version 2, then do a coin swap from old BCN. The only issue is how to list BCN v2 to Poloniex (I believe listing in other exchangers had lower difficulty)...

If anyone here do not want BCN to be delisted from Poloniex, should gather and work it out together... Just my two BCN (approximate 0.1363 cents at current price)

We already have BCN mirror image with 10,000:1 ratio in coins numbering.. dashcoin DSH...if you are going to fork bytecoin from the original devs, fork off their premine too.

Anyway I will not be surprised if poloniex delist BCN, poloniex first big break as an exchange is pioneering majority of XMR trades from the very beginning and I believe they own some and they are biased..with BCN delisted, XMR will absorb all BCN investments and forever rule the cryptonight algo in the whole crypto sphere/scene.

We can never be sure what the original devs are up to. They don't communicate regularly, but they suddenly come up with improvements out of nowhere. And then again go to shadows.

So they're not communicating doesn't mean they have abandoned the coin. They may be just keep working behind the curtain, giving zero fucks to what we think of them.

Yes, I like their way. Decentralised, privacy. And I do not see a necessity in communicating with a greedy crypto community, it steals their time. And they are not vulnerable this way, as happened with many other coins (bbr, xdn, and others).
