If his attack is purely hash rate based then it will be like a storm. It comes and goes and the longer he holds his "fork" of monero in place the more money it will cost him.

It would not surprise me one bit if he was to back out on this so called attack like he did when he claimed he was going to fork/kill Litecoin in 2012 and then didnt.

That would be just a 51% attack. He is claiming an exploit which makes it vulnerable. Nothing in his history shows he is capable of figuring that out.

ya well litecoin and monero are pretty big diff when u think about all that gpu power he had to overcome (assuming it was after ltc went gpu) vs monero where gpu's r only like 2-3x as power as a midrange cpu.

i think with a botnet of a few hundred k computers he'll kill it if he can ddos one pool.
