I'll try out.  I am mature (If I do say so myself.) I may not be that active when chatting, but I will keep an eye out. Besides, It is already a pinned tab on my browser. I can be on for at LEAST a hour on week days.

For the record: I am NOT asking, I am simply stating that I may be interested.  Wink

Send me a PM. (If I don't get one I may PM you)

Also, How many mods are you going to hire?

The goal of the OP is to get people contributing lots of thoughtful, mature and not-about-being-a-mod content over at coinchat. So it would seem the main goal is to promote the site, not hire a mod.  Tongue

How many moderators are you planning on hiring?

So how exactly does CoinChat handle over $100 per month? Did they get so big that they get $100/month in ad money alone?

He believes in his website and is investing in it.  He doesn't need to make a profit immediately - he can have reserve funds allocated to the project.

3. Don't ask to be a moderator (this hurts your chances).

Love this thread.   Cheesy
Same. I wouldn't even qualify for the spot I bet, so writing here doesn't really hurt my already tiny chances.

How long should it take? 1 hour per day? Less? More?

I still can't figure why you invest some much time and money in that project.

Not TF, but I assume there aren't so much any rates of how many hours you should be online per day, but you should just be active enough to effectively moderate in your timezone and you don't neccesarily have to chat and be active, I'd assume you'd just have to keep an eye out on the chat and moderate it, but I wouldn't do it just for the BTCs, you'll need to have some actual motivation, i.e liking the site, to moderate effectively.

Just my two cents, and again, I'm not TF but that's what I assume is needed/wanted.

I've been spending a lot of time on coinchat actually, especially on researching and testing out automatic client to client encryption. Tongue

I am good for the job.
