Hi, recently I went to a website https://www.crypto-way .ltd (I add a space in ltd so that you won't click on this accidentally.  It offers 2X of the amount of money you send in.   I find it too suspicious and did a check on the domain name.  It was only registered a few days ago.   The British company they are suppose to be does not exist and they are hosting in a russian hosting company, making it impossible for me to contact them to feedback to them.  If anyone can speak Russian and do the feedback, that would be great as it keeps another scum away from our Bitcoin environment.

Welll the website that you accessed offers bitcoin doubling service, a type of ponzi scheme that promises to double the amount of bitcoins that you sent in the in said amount of time you should stay away from these kind of site because some of this services pay at first but in the long term when the site has too many clients and their money hasn't enough to pay them they will run away so, don't try depositing bitcoin in any amount to these site it likely they will run away with your money.

For me, I think aside from someone who is greedy and fail to learn anything in his sojourn in the crypto would fall for this kind of scam. However, a newbie could because at the time, it seems it the best thing to happen and a quick way to make the best returns on investment. It then become more convincing when there is a positive on the internet forgetting that reviews can be bought and concocted. They then put somedays for your investment to mature and the number of days is usually in longest days. Eventually, you learn your lessons that nothing is free money after all.

This forum has a zero tolerance for any HYIP related issues It was advisable to stay away from them giveaway of 2X bitcoin is a ploy towards scamming gullible investors believed me a lot of people will foolishly fall for this and later regret their actions because in a long run the scheme can never be sustained based on past experience, HYIP promoters are negatively tagged in this forum I implored you to find a better alternative investment to avoid touching stories at the end of the day.

Metawin.com - Truly the best casino ever
It offers 2X of the amount of money you send in.

I can't believe that people fall in those scams. Have you ever seen in real life someone tell you "Transfer me some money in my bank account. I will transfer you back 2x."

Why would someone do this?
People are insane with bitcoin...

Bitcoin is not a tool to make people get rich quick. It is just a currency. It works as a currency.
I have heard very often when people say: Lend me some money to play poker, I'll win and pay you back 2x. But as a result, they always lose and they blame luck, but the most curious thing here is that they always win with last few bucks (as they state).
Problem is wish of easy money, no one wants work, are lazy for that so when someone offers such proposal, it's very hard for super lazy person to deny it or even think whether it's scam or not, they hear what they wish and then try their best to believe themselves that it is truth and it can't be scam.
I think it's seriously mental problem that people really fall in such scams.

This is the perfect time to use the phrase "same shit, different smell".

I wonder if someone set up this scam, where the payment option was in Paypal, or via your credit card, and it went as "Send us 1,000 dollars, we'll send you back 10,000 dollars in an hour".

People are really stupid when it comes to cryptocurrencies, this and ICO's are a prime example of how the media and public opinion of cryptocurrencies is that it is just a get rich option.

Crowdfunding was nothing new, but how come ICO's raised millions, and scammed millions? Same shit, different smell.

This view needs to be changed.

Are you new in crypto space? This bitcoin doubler scam is one of the oldest and most famous scam in crypto space. They usually pay people for first few days and then when they reach break-even and made enough profit, they close the site and run away with people's money. Never fall for them, no matter they are registered or even run by President of USA.
It only takes 2 to 3 days then it will run  Grin. This kind of scheme is very popular in social media like facebook, until now there still ponzi scheme  promoting there. I remember i also fell for this kind of schene way back 2017 before i learn trading.

Haha, right! Nowadays even 2-3 days are long for these scamming sites. In my early days, I also used to fall for them. Actually my problem was I didn't know what Bitcoin is back then. So I used to buy Bitcoin from my Paypal account assuming it is some kind of investment tokens that can only be used to invest in these doubling sites and then invest Bitcoins in those sites. I lost around 0.02 BTC before realizing that Bitcoin is actually much more than that, lol.

Agree to this, That is obviously a scam, just think because in the first place that is not an giveaway, there's a legit giveaway you can see just like faucet, (not recommended waste of time) you don't need to send any amount of money, that is what you can call a giveaway. That is just basically a scam and not a giveaway so please be careful next time.

doing a faucet cant be consider as a giveaway becauss you need to do some task like solving captchas and in return they give you free sats . you are also visiting a faucet site full of ads and they earn with your visits . same as on airdrops or on bounties , they did not claim that they are give away because a real giveaway is when someone give you free money without asking for return .

gambling is a kind of money doubler. you can deposit x amount and play with x2 payout , if you win you can instantly double your money but of course there is a big risk of loosing. like what we have on other hyip/ponzi investment schemes.

You should know that if any legit company offers 2X of the money you send in then the news of the platform would have spread like wildfire and everyone in the world would have been rich because they will just keep doubling what ever amount they have.

You got it. Simple as that. Though many people are easily blinded by easy money. So there will always be those who'll fall victim to scams offering to double your investments in a fixed amount of time. I'd say i've been duped a couple of times before also. It's money. Sometimes logic gets thrown out the window for a chance at quick easy money.

Duelbits - $100k Bonus/week
That is good to know that you bring a head up here, upon searching the site it is totally shut down. They abandoned already and running the investors money and this is not a giveaway. "HYIP Ponzi scheme group", no one fool at this if you are old here in the forum. Most likely their victims are those greedy people and those innocent people/a newbie in this crypto space. I remember this before when I also a newbie, who's familiar with Aurora Mining investment? They are the same process of scamming.

Once I see this "It offers 2X of the amount of money you send in", that's when I know I'm to refrain. Please be careful when you see such. I don't really believe in bitcoin doubling.
I'm glad I didn't fall for this kind of trap before thanks to my friend who knows more about of a ponzi scheme. And now I can tell that I learned a lot from him. People should learn from the mistakes of the other people, it will save them some time for the hassle.

And as the title say, people should be very careful about their money and never invest it to a too good to be true offer.

That indeed sounds very stupid. They think we will believe in such a way, but it is undeniable that there are many types of people in this world who are very easy to believe in something or are newbies who are tempted by its benefits. and not realistic. no way people give you free money if they are asking you for a money.
