Probably the pool fund is enough for them to run because when I was visiting the site I just found out that it seems broken and can't access the website. We should have research first before investing and spending our valuable bitcoin and think it twice before having a transaction and placed an investment. No one gives us now a free bitcoin. Probably there is but I think 1k sats is enough. Even faucet probably the highest amount they give is 500 sats. Bitcoin doubler or a Ponzi scheme is prone to scamming it is better to stay away and move on.

Hi, recently I went to a website https://www.crypto-way .ltd (I add a space in ltd so that you won't click on this accidentally.  It offers 2X of the amount of money you send in.   I find it too suspicious and did a check on the domain name.  It was only registered a few days ago.   The British company they are suppose to be does not exist and they are hosting in a russian hosting company, making it impossible for me to contact them to feedback to them.  If anyone can speak Russian and do the feedback, that would be great as it keeps another scum away from our Bitcoin environment.
The scene is definitely ripe with scams, I have been ripped off a few times in my early days here in the community, I'm over it know though, but I've sent 1 whole Ethereum to an IOST telegram bot and never got it back except for fake IOST.
Ethereum was around $180 or so at the time. The best thing to do is to charge it the game and move on. A hard lesson learned, now I try to remember to practice my Due Diligence these days.

You are a newbie so maybe you were surprised to see this new site offer 2x gain. We daily come across such multiplier sites which you you double your investments in few hours to few days time. All of them are ways to scam people. Some new sites might double your bitcoin to gain some confidence to attract more investors and then they scam big in the end.

I mean, if the Nigerian prince scam continues to work to this day, why wouldn't new, uneducated crypto users fall for a scam involving coins?
That's what I also don't understand... How could people fell for the Nigerian scam systems today? It has already proven/documented/written/etc... that these kind of stories are always scam...
But people just don't learn from the other people's mistakes, they only learn about losing their own money... and after they blame everyone but themselves...
So unless people learn how to handle their greed with rationalism and learning about things they want to spend their money for, these scams will be here to stay...

always use a simple rule: if something is too good - then it is probably no good at all
and its sad that there are people who don't know what a scam bitcoin doublers are
they belong to the lowest form of rubbish sites along with ponzi , "investment" HYIPs , ICO  projects and Justin Bieber's fan pages
Romans used to say : qui bono? or who profits? , if any site is offering something to you , then they must get something in return
if there is no legit business model in sight , then all they want from you is to exchange your money for their fairy tales and ability to host a scam website

giveaway is when you don't do anything but receive something for free as some sort of "gift". when you have to pay, then it is no longer a giveaway, it is more like an investment and in this case since there is no company or product or anything it is a Ponzi scheme. you didn't really have to check the domain, etc to figure it out either, it is just that obvious.
Yeah, exactly. That's what I thought and this is what got me interested in the topic. I wanted to know whether there are elaborate scam schemes when you don't transfer money to anyone. When you are asked to give some money, it's obvious it's a scam. But when it's like an Airdrop, can it still be dangerous? Well, some people don't like it that when they mention their Ethereum address, they get "spammed" with shitcoins they never wanted to have, but at least in this scenario you don't lose money. There can also be sophisticated scam strategies. For instance, when to receive some money you are asked to install a plug-in/make a specific update which is actually malware (I've seen such a thing before).

Bitcoin doubler. They're not the first. Previously, there have been many people cheating people similar way. Don't linger around here for anything. Nobody gives Bitcoin to anyone for free.
Well, you are right that is a bitcoin doubler, not giveaways. Once you deposited amount of bitcoin that they will promise you a good return of your investment, yes they had but only 2-3 payouts and suddenly lose your fund. I would prefer you to stay away on this kind of Ponzi scheme hype group. They are cancer in crypto space and give a shit in the image of bitcoin. And right, no one gives bitcoin for free so stay away from them.

Most of the people who are taking this kind of bait are useless, that they don't want to dedicate some hard work to earn money instead they want an easy money all the time, and they are the ones who are the regular customer of this wicked plan. Creating a website that looks like those real ones are very common these days, or you could call it a phising site, or any ways or scamming people. Asking money and they will return it 2x is already fishy but it's not for those who are blinded by earning big money.

afterwards, they will rant about these stuffs that they've been scammed and so on, and it is funny because it is their own fault yet they are blaming cryptocurrency for that.

Buy $BGL before it's too late!
Only newbies and greedy investors would fall for this. I remember when I first started in crypto there are bitcoin doubler investment schemes, and during that time it is really rampant and many people fall for it. Keep in mind any investment that is too good to be true and offers a great return in a short span of time is a scam. Be cautious when investing, and make sure to do a background check and review before investing.
Way back then, there's many people who seen this investment currency as a scam projects because of this many doubler and ponzi/hyip businesses.
They portray bad images since many newbies wanted a quick profits they fall from this scheme, like what you have mentioned those easy to earn offers
are very dangerous and too good to be true, you need to research and be very careful there's lots of opportunities if you sort the right ways.

I can't believe that people fall in those scams. Have you ever seen in real life someone tell you "Transfer me some money in my bank account. I will transfer you back 2x."

Why would someone do this?
People are insane with bitcoin...

Bitcoin is not a tool to make people get rich quick. It is just a currency. It works as a currency.
I don't get people who eats this kind of scam, I don't really get it, It is very obvious when something is good to be true that is 90% or a total scam. This reflects the greediness of people behind the cryptocurrency, they always expect a great return in no time, you're right they want to get rich quick not knowing what they are stepping into. Its 2019, don't fall with this ponzi schemes.

It's such an old story and I can't beleive there are still people who fall for this, it's obviously a scam.
There is no such thing as giveaway but I guess that people's greed will always be stringer than common sense. There is no such thing as free lunch, don't forget that.

That's the dumbest scheme ever, some people treat these as gambling games but should definitely never do that. It's just a group of people stealing money and that's it. I don't understand how people could fall for it.

people who fall on this scamming tactic are only those that are ignorant fools who dont know any better! thinking about getting more money? but wait theres more... cmmon guys, this is an old rotten strategy already!
and yet these scammers can get their victims easily. or maybe we dont have to call them as victims, but plain dumb idiots who dont know the real world!
if somebody encounters that kind of too-good-to-be-true offer, ignore and dont look back! you cant be rich that quick as what you dream of!

it can be called a HYIP (high yield investment program) or Ponzi scheme. where the money distributed to investors is the result of other investors' deposits ... and if no more investors send money, then they can take your money with you

It was a known scam scheme, these new websites should be avoided by every newbie that isn't aware of this scam. Don't believe if someone tells you that by simply sending a specific amount to their address will give you a return of doubling your money.

The website is also new so aside from that scam scheme, the creation date is suspicious.

These kind of schemes are widespread for years now. We called these type of things as HYIP, or high yield inviestment program but later on these projects can no longer suffice to pay their clients and will run your money. Majority of HYIP's are scams and some even are offering double your money in one hour, its like a race, first come first serve and the last group to enter will be the victims while the first batch will be used to entice more victims to join.

In the bitcoin industry many scam projects have sprouted and thus there are also many websites that monitors and checks if those sites are scams or to good to be true.

Several years ago it was so popular that there was plenty of sites offering can doubled people funds within 24 hours and most of them are scam because when people make a decission to deposit then they were lied and people lost their money and i thought these kind of sites were disappears but a little surprised they still exist until now however basically this is not giveaway because if those are giveaways and people should get the money for free without making a deposit

Greed makes one fall for such offers. I am admin of a telegram channel and I have seen people reporting that some spammer contacted with the admins fake profile and asked for funds. Spammers keep finding new ways for their earnings.

My advise is if you are getting funds without investing then share address and try for it(but, do not share personal details or private key). When you are asked to send funds or are asked to stake something before getting do not trust that. It is better to loss an opportunity than to loss your funds.
