That's really true, not all tokens/coins will recover when they are bear, even many of them become worthless and uninteresting. it would be better if you only invest in tokens/coins that are ranked in the top 100 market cap.

Back then many of the altcoins had crazy bull runs and went up in value by 100 or even 1,000 times. Investors were blindly pouring their money in to altcoin projects, without doing the slightest bit of research. The thinking was that if they invest in 10 different projects, at least 2 or 3 would return profits. That worked in 2017, when the success rate was around 20%. But in 2018, the success rate dipped below 5%, and many of the projects were overpriced to start with. That meant that even if a project was successful, the profits were not large enough to cover losses from the failed projects.

I am waiting for few coins to move up but yes, in trading one need to learn to wait or be patient enough to wait if you have already invested on a best coin. So, do not decide based on current moment of a best. It will certainly have a good growth when Bitcoin move us fast. However, if you are new to trading, analyze best coins before investing on them.

You can invest and buy more coins that you want but with a great risk because not all coin can give you more profits some coins just give you more losses.It is important to do more research because we cannot predict the price oaf any coins.

In my opinion we can't predict with accuracy weather a coin will recover or not. For instance btc after seeing its ath in 2017 went down to 3k in 2018. Everyone at that time said that btc is going down to 1k and won't come back again. Apart from that there were many alt coins that were sleeping or dead woke up one fine day.
