The most important thing is to be skillful whenever you are skillful then your status doesn't matter I mean, you state of wellbeing doesn't really acts towards your acceptance in the society, what makes many people become homeless and useless is that they had refused to be productive to themselves by learning and acquiring skills that could foster their wellbeing -snip-

It's easy to say because you're not in their position. How many people graduate with a bachelor's degree with advanced skills? but most of them end up unemployed, so this is not about the individual problem anymore, but how the government as the responsible party only thinks about how they can get more taxes from citizens but does not provide real solutions to society, so that causes an explosion of unemployment today, and this could lead to higher levels of homelessness as a result of those no longer being able to pay their rent because they no longer have jobs or income. If only the government was able to provide comprehensive and targeted solutions to citizens and was able to collaborate with the private sector, this problem could be resolved/at least reduced from what it is now.

Decades ago a person could hope to do well by just being willing to work hard and do things the right way, but now such an advice is not only no longer a formula for success, now it is a formula for disaster, as what is the point of working hard when in many cases you have to do it without medical insurance, you are not paid overtime and you have to work for less, otherwise you risk being replaced by a multitude of people willing to do your job for those wages, so people are in a way trapped on the red queen’s race, in which they have to run as fast as they can just to remain on the same place, so many people are giving up any dreams of increasing the quality of their life.
If someone does hard work and can't get the results they do of course this will be very detrimental to them and also waste their time on what they do and I think it would be better if we could look for work that can provide income according to the abilities we have because if we continue to stay in a job that has a low salary even though the abilities we have will be able to get a higher salary than the place where we work, then we must be able to try to look for opportunities in other places so we can get an appropriate income. with the abilities we have, because if we choose to give up in pursuing the dreams we have of course this will make us never dare to try new things and also this will make us never be better than before.

So those people who chooses to be homeless are the creator of their downfall or do I say they don't strive more harder to make out ways for themselves, I have seen the uneducated people with skills has mansion in their respective cities and villages just because they accepted that they won't entirely depends on their government to come intervene rather choses to do some skills to get themselves a brazed up.

You are right. Skill is very important, and skills can make someone continue their life even after losing a job. With skills, you won’t wait for any other person before you can provide for yourself; all you need is to know what you are doing. That’s why, even during the pandemic, many people who lost their jobs but had skills still continued living their normal lives, even though many things were affected and life had not been like before for them. They still managed to survive with the little they earned.

However, skills are not like government work where you will be earning weekly; it is something you will do and get paid as soon as possible. That is why people with skills always get things done before some salary earners; they don’t wait for anybody else to make things possible for themselves, which is a very good thing to do, and that is why even with a government job, someone should get another side hustle done so that their financial status will be balanced and they can also achieve many things in life.

The cost of living has risen dramatically, I don’t know what the answer is if you are struggling. I guess just work hard, ask for a pay rise maybe, even take up a second job. If you work hard & are fully committed, the chances are you will strike lucky at some point & you can turn your life around. It’s tough but people who try their best & leave no stone unturned tend to be OK eventually.

Yes, this is whats happening or simply the reality of this life on which we are all trapped into that cycle on which we would really be needing to work hard for us to survive. Despite on having
our own wishes and goals but due to lack of opportunity or simply doesnt have the time nor having that capital or any chances that we could make our lives better werent present then
we would really be simply sticking into the  things on what we are currently dealing on, which we would really be staying poor for the rest of our lives. Somehow, there would really be people who
would really be trying out their best on getting outside of such condition and this is why they would really be thriving out to do something which they do seem that could improve their way of living.

Being poor is normal? there would be several factors on why a certain people would really be on such state but its not actually that a solid reason for you not to make up something
for you to be able to make your life way more better. It would really be just that depending on you because not all would really be that the same mindset
when it comes into these kind of conditions.

We have less jobs less Capital so instead of inflation more like shortages of money becouse some cities areas all over the world Even the most wealthy countries some entire cities are Broke and full of unemployed people.
Becoming the poor and homeless nowdays can be happening with anyone who use to be normal before.
Not just in USA it's all over the world canada eu UK ...we see now more than ever people lose their financial strenghts.
Once you go down it's allmost impossible to get back up again once you look bad not healty anymore so people will Avoid you with all cost.
The system is rigged don't blame so much yourself you all are just the another victim.

Biggest crime in this world is when you don't have money once you lose money and financial power you Will be treated bad and everybody will Avoid from you ...but the criminals who might stole a lot money or doing frauds or scams they might looking good and healthy and society look up to them not bad.

So all said in this world you got to look good you got have a lot money and resoucres so even If you not good person others Will forgive you but If someone lose home and all the financial resoucres and having the bad look he or she will be treated worse then any criminals.
No matter what you do or what you have in order to get job or accepted by others you got to look good and wealthy and healthy once you lose your appareance the way you look then nobody don't accept you even If you are educated or good person.
So the downfall start when you got bad health once your heath bad you might look bad once you look bad people try to Avoid you.
If there is Job then anyone whos looking healthy will get the Job first.
Nobody don't ask really in this world how did you get into bad situation once you in this you are out your life is finished even If you still Alive.
Speacially now with this financial conditions the poverty becomes the new Normal.

There is only a tiny portion of the population in most developed countries that is homeless, so it is definitely far from "normal". Once again you fail to back up your dribbling nonsense with any actual statistics, just a certain frame of mind that you impose on to the world. In many developed countries, like the US / UK / Europe then you will find that the unemployment rate is close to record lows, which indicates that society is doing quite well and can keep people in a job - when you have a job you tend to be able to do things like cover rent. There will always be people in this world without money, just like there will be people who acquire it and waste it on rubbish, you can only hope to support them through a reasonable social safety net.

Just the harsh truth about the society. Different norms are evident which creates marginalization. But I agree to aide thing through hardwork; reality is the world won't adjust to us, it is us who will adjust to our world or environment. Best thing is to continue regardless of these challenges 'coz there will always be an opportunity to all of us to make our own "life changing" events. If it is job which is the problem try jumping to other fields wherein appearance and other  struggles won't be that much of q factor. Just roam and test waters. At the end of the day, we need to cope up with these challenges in order to survive.
Biggest crime in this world is when you don't have money once you lose money and financial power you Will be treated bad and everybody will Avoid from you ...
This is what just got my interest among every thing that has been said. Especially as a man, if you do not have money, you will not be taken seriously by almost everyone. You will loose respect in the eyes of your family, and the society, and your opinion will not be respected. This is why it is imperative to make good financial decisions like investing in crypto from the little that you have, or having other kinds of key investments.

...but the criminals who might stole a lot money or doing frauds or scams they might looking good and healthy and society look up to them not bad.
Unless someone has been put behind bars, nobody really cares how you make your money most times. You can be a criminal and be celebrated for it because you have money and you are successful in it. This is just how our society has turned into.
Money will always be associated with power 'coz that's just how things are going to everyone.. The thing that we should learn from this is to take care of the steps and pathways we would be choosing; take care of your health, save, and always make sure to scale your skillset to not be  stepped upon by the society.

Global economic downturn since the COVID-19 pandamic, this have affected countries in different ways depending on the countries economic policy to meet up with current global financial crises, and the worst hit countries are those that have poor leadership which have brought in alot of corruption where the government careless about the people welfare but after their own private gains, laundering money that belong to the masses and with zero production output, my country is one of those countries that are suffering from this, and the rate of poverty in this side of the world is high, many people who use to do well economically before are now lacking behind to meet they basic needs, this have forced many to leave below the poverty level, many have become homeless since the crisis began, and not because their is war but just high inflation making the basic need out of reach for the ordinary person on the street, this have affected a large percentage of the population.
One thing I am sure of is that, those people that are homeless, are not happy about the situation but events that way beyond their power have forced them to arrive at that position of not having a place to call a home, the question right now is that, how long will this continue?
And if you have noticed, since the inflation began in most countries, it rate have not come down since then, this can be seen as reflected in the price of basic goods in the market, if you buy an item for a certain price today, by the time you go back next week for the same item, you will fine out that the price have done almost x2 which is an indication of raising inflation without any possibility to retreat back to normal in any time soon.

it is the same with the industrial revolution where manual labor was displaced by machineries meant for large scale productions the world is always developing and i am sure that one way or another humans can still find purpose for themselves that no robots or technologies can make or do

From what you said, I can already imagine that a robot that has had technology embedded in it to be able to do all the work that can be done by humans, will definitely still not be able to repair itself when it is damaged, so there must be human involvement in it. But on the one hand, I also can't imagine how the latest technological developments in the future will lead to more competition and also unemployment for those who do not upgrade their own skills. Because I am sure that the workforce that is usually paid by the company for several jobs will be immediately reduced by the presence of current technology so that it can trigger the company to become richer because it does not have to spend excessive amounts of money on each of its workers.

People who live in first world countries should be grateful, you don't need to be an engineer, because you can work even as a dishwasher, waiter, or any other low paying jobs in your country, but if you work for 2-3 jobs, you can still save.

You might not able to get rich or get married with the girl you really interested, but you can have a family and having fun with girls in third world countries e.g. South East Asian.

"Poor" in first world countries still able to afford rent and have a car, while "poor" in third world countries, you can only rent a suburban house and can't afford to own a car.

I think it's always been like that, it just became more apparent with the increase of people who are, well, considered homeless now. Still, I think there's at least some minimum thing they can do to avoid it? I'm no expert at it but I expect homeless people who have families at least can stay with them at least until they get it together.

I'd say yea, minimum wage jobs can't lift you up from poverty or help you achieve what you want but it can at the very least help you start living your life. Rather unfortunate that it stays at that though tbh. This is considering there's at least some semblance of a proper human being in them. Addicts and the like are probably a lost cause with just a couple few being redeemable.

You didn't really state anything new op. This is how the world has always been and will most probably never change unless the entire world is reset or something which is completely unrealistic as of now.

The rich will keep getting richer while the poor will keep getting poorer as the global population keeps ballooning over time. Survival of the fittest basically.

that's just how the world works, it's expensive being poor and the poor have lesser opportunity.
Being on that threshold to average middle earner is expensive nowadays. Before, in a family, only the father needs to work and everyone survives. Nowadays, everyone from the family need to work to live a comfortable life.  Embarrassed

would be great if things isn't all like that and the poor can be given second chance to try again but apparently that's just an empty dream.
Everyone has got a chance but don't count all of those that are in that situation wasn't given a chance. The chance is there but the initiative should be from them. I know a helping hand is needed but many just chose to be in that situation and never want to arise and get back to their former living. And that's due to their economic situation where things have gotten more expensive and they just live off as if they are in the wilderness trying to survive, eat and sleep and that's it.

for anyone that still has stable life I think it's also good to try looking for side hustle just to secure yourself financially, since the key of wealth accumulation is higher income and not saving where it just gonna get devoured by the inflation.
things will get worse with the introduction of AI to replace labour.

That's not a crime when you have no money and have no power. That's the society looks to someone who has less finances, people treat those folks as if they're nothing and they don't contribute to the economy. It is a sad reality that you'd see in places and even in the circle of your friends and relatives, you're treated like you're nothing if you don't have money. Whilst for those people that does illegal and becomes like a lord to them because they have money, it's only a matter of time that karma will hit them badly.

I also do not rule out the potential for unemployment in big cities and even in developed countries because now technological developments that can be relied on by rich people who own large companies can also replace human labor.

Well, I can agree that the inflation rate is so high and it's worst in some countries. I also understand that there are some third-world countries where the unemployment rate is also very high. In times like this, an individual only needs to figure out how to help themselves in the best way they can so that they can avoid too much pressure. For example, if your salary can no longer satisfy your needs to the fullest, you need to learn how to economize and manage what you have to live on reduced expenses. If you are living in a city or town where the cost of survival is too high or if you are living in a very expensive apartment, then you should make an adjustment.

The rate of homelessness in the US has been increasing over the years. This might be caused by inflation just as in the case of many countries. But other factors also cause homelessness which include substance abuse. There has been an increase in the rate of people who abuse drugs. It is common to see young people sleeping on the streets because they cannot afford accomodation due to drug addictions. A US organization The National Coalition for the Homeless has found that 55% of homeless people are alcohol dependent, and 25% reported being dependent on other harmful substances. There is need to tackle drug trafficking and addiction to reduce homelessness.
