Hmm... so you can't send XRP if your balance is 200XRP or less.  Huh

"This transaction exceeds your balance, you can send a max. of -0 XRP"

Thanks to the person who sent me 200XRP. I sent back 2 XPR, 1% as promised. (By topping it up to 202...  Roll Eyes)

Oh and there is a fee! 202 - 2 = 199.99999. It wasn't on the send page, but it's there on the About ripple page. $0.0001 per transaction. (More like XRP 0.00001).

Please all beggars: Have the good manners to return 1% of the XRP received or there about. Most Ripple-users are still just testing transactions, also those who succumbs to pleading beggars.

I think this sort of post is allowed.

The Ripple bot has neglected to credit me my initial allotment of XRP for like a whole hour now at least, and I'm getting bored. Does anyone want to spot me?

raMw9ktfS2dyRx9Cf75Wfrbjwrsd3yvHxy

Sent you 1000 XRP. Can you send my 1 back?
Greets

I sent you 100 back, and now I trust you 0.5 BTC, because you seem like a reasonable fellow.

Also, the Ripple vending bot seems to have paid me 3 times instead of once like it was supposed to, so now I'm rich! Ripples for everyone!

Ok thanks for the credit line;) I trust you back with only 0.001 for now  Roll Eyes
Its just for testing anyway.

I received the 100 XRP. THX!

The bot mentions every action 3 times under the Wallet>Balance tab, thats weird and I guess a bug.
Apart from that, I didnt send more then 1000 XRP to you nor did I lose more.
Are you sure you didnt misinterpreted the tripple mentioning of your receival by the bot?

OK, lets make a little experiment!
My current balance on my Ripple account is: 1BTC
If I pay out 1,5 BTC to my Bitstamp account via the Bitstamp gateway,
I should actually end up with the following set up:

Ripple account: 0 BTC
Bitstamp account: 1,5 BTC
I owe you: 0,5 BTC corect?

If everything works, I will of course pay back immediately if you wish. You can also use this set up for further experiments (like trying to withdraw that money from me via my IOUs.)

Cheers

@ interfect: Hmm, the experiment didnt work! I couldnt withdraw more BTC to my Bitstamp account then I had balance on my Ripple account, although you granted me a credit line of 0,5 BTC (and I did so back). Have you had your Ripple account balance topped up with at least 0.5 BTC actually (Should prevent me from borrowing from you, but maybe it is somehow important)?

I was actually about to tell you this wouldn't work. I don't currently hold any Bitstamp IOUs, and Bitstamp doesn't trust me at all, so I can't be used to send them any payments.

Would you mind trusting them? With a lower credit line if you like?
