I’m a new member here, and I want to gamble on online casinos. I found some good trusted casinos. And I want to begin with a game with a low budget. First, I need your suggestions about the best games, slots. Live casino for a beginner.
Do you think Me starting gambling would effect me in my real life or make me addicted to gambling. What’s you suggestion and advices.
I wonder why do you consider to start gambling? Do you expect to win big or become a pro in poker for example and make it your side hustle?
Of course you can get addicted. Unless you only gamble occasionally and don't have big expectations. For example, I'm only gambling for fun, I have no goals associated with gambling and I mostly do sports betting.
There is the case of just wanting to have fun with it. But these days if we really want to say the truth, the reason why most person go into gambling is because they actually want to rustle up some few bucks which at the long run of everything can be a negative taught that will work against you.
That's it, most of the people who are gambling are doing it for the money, this is as many might pretend to you that it's otherwise. There is no way they can have many behavioural changes and issues towards it if it's to be for entertainment. In this case, at least with this view, it is something they would be enjoying and will have their limits to playing it and will also be using little amounts to have the desired fun without hurt. And if this is positive for the people, it does the job of entertainment which they really need it for, they can't be negatively addicted to the point that it would be worrisome for them and those who know them. Gambling might be good and also good to engage with but our mindset matters, and so does our preparedness even before we start gambling. These are what will make sure that we do not do excessive gambling that could cost us even more than our money if we engage it with the money mindset and without any viable plan.
Intention doesnt matter to addiction. The brain's reward system might get hooked on profit or pleasure. We declare, "Im in control," but how often do we see self-control crumble in the face of gains or losses?
Of course, it's still an intention, it's not a deed yet, so it's practically harmless and can't addict. But for the other part, that's if the person loses guard and wants the hook upon himself for any reason be it for pleasure or profit as you indicated. If a person is truly aware of this and gets himself prepared beforehand, I guess it can't happen like that. It's only for the weak in mind your narration can happen to, which was what I preached initially.
All that matters is for us to be conscious of all the dangers possible in gambling provided we are not yet careful and letting our emotions rule in the stead of us. And inasmuch as we are determined and disciplined, I am certain that self-control can never crumble in our faces, I do this all the time and I am fine with my gambling lifestyle and self-control. So, it all depends on the individual and the "will" to preserve his mind.
Heres a problem: if gambling is for fun, why do so many battle with limits? Perhaps the manner matters more than the why. Approaching gambling with a clear brain and strict boundaries. The key? Not simply for fun or money - to understand ourselves. Even the most "fun" gambler can slide without self-awareness. Instead than judging the "why", lets focus on the "how".
Everything must be done in moderation to maintain sanity, and there's nothing you do too much that doesn't have a negative consequence(s) even if you are enjoying the thing, that's life. For gambling, if done too much, it's either it takes too much of your mental energy, time and others from you. But they could have been better utilised elsewhere for some wise people, so that's why limits have to be set for the sake of responsible gambling. By gambling too much in the name of fun, you might waste more money as well since the time has overreached, this is part of the reasons for plans and consciousness in gambling which I always talk about. We should be smart and decisive with our gambling lifestyle, or else it will push us since we might be out of control if we let it drive us whether it's for the fun or not.
