There were so many camera's for phones on the fire they got so many different angles of it.
Here is a video containing several of the most commonly seen ones already:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eGEmD6j8diU

The one that caught the best angle is of the fireworks going off then the explosion where the camera doesn't turn away because it looks like they are several kilometers away from the blast from a very high tower:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ruIHp8sgQ_E

Wasnt there something in Beirut to do with an explosion just a few days ago?
It was a country torn by war so just thought it was just more unrest starting up again from the world we are all living in now.
So not too surprised to hear about it.

not a nuke but possibly some sort of conventional or dirty bomb.  a nuke would come with a bright flash and high temperature blast. this had a huge pressure blast though so thats why people mistakenly think its nuclear.

Allegedly caused by some sort of explosive material including sodium nitrate. Some estimates are 50 people dead with 2k+ injured, but it'll be a while until we get a full casualty report.

Just looking at it I am predicting it was some kind of pressurized fuel or liquid fuel tank which was heated by a fire and over pressured. The explosion of the tank mixes the surrounding oxygen with the fuel extremely quickly, resulting in a MASSIVE explosion much greater in scale and destruction than any other kind of accidental explosion you will likely see. They even build certain bunker busting bombs based on this concept.

It looks so scary. Damage of explosion is huge - city looks like after war. There is 50 victims and 2700 people injured, but these numbers are going to grow unfortunately, considering that explosion happened in big city and it was so powerful.
There is no confirmation what was inside storage. In this video it looks like fireworks, but it might be guns or some kind of chemical material too:
https://mobile.twitter.com/Jtruzmah/status/1290676668617564160
But I don't think it's terror attack.

I have seen so many explosion videos in the past including nuke tests but this surely can't be a nuclear bomb/missle or Fireworks. It's most likely an explosion caused a chemical like ammonium nitrate probably stored in one of the warehouse in Large Quantities.

If you clearly look at the video, It first started as a fire then followed by a big BOOOM! That not how nukes or fireworks explode. If it was guns or a dozen bombs, Gas container/cylinders we would see multiple small explosions

Yeah right, youtubing a nuke from that distance. Kids these days.

OP, rename the thread and at least make some effort to explain how this relates to Economics.

A large blast has hit the Lebanese capital, Beirut, ahead of the verdict in a trial for the killing of ex-PM Rafik Hariri in 2005.

Reports say the explosion was in the port area of the city, with unconfirmed reports of a second blast.

Video showed a large mushroom cloud and extensive damage.

A UN tribunal is due to issue its verdict in the trial in absentia of four suspects in the murder by car bomb of Rafik Hariri.

All four are members of the Iranian-backed Hezbollah group, which has consistently denied any role in Hariri's death.

The possible second explosion was reported to be at the Hariri residence in the city.

Dozens have been injured, AFP news agency reports, quoting a security source.

The latest reports come amid political tension in Lebanon, with street demonstrations against the government's handling the worst economic crisis since the 1975-1990 civil war.

Sigh, I really cant with the state of the board at this point. Sad to see this sort of flood of posts everywhere.

Like if OP just thought about this for a moment, they would've noticed that the person filming would ALSO be dead if this was a nuclear blast. Plus the fact that it would be confirmed from like every single news outlet as a confirmed nuclear blast.

The explosion was caused by a fire in a warehouse which held explosive materials. Confirmed by WSJ and tons of other outlets (https://www.wsj.com/articles/lebanon-struck-by-blast-at-beirut-port-11596556605)

Horrible what happened. Dozens were killed and thousands were left injured.

Highly doubt OP is even going to read our pleas for him to improve the post quality.

Nuke would cause mushroom.

Base on some reports it looks like an oil depo explosion. This is nearby the port. At first, there is a fire causing the thick smoke and then the boom. The explosion though too huge to say its just a factory.  This is a capital city, this will surely make a difference to their economy.

so let's see what others say ... and hope it's not a nuke

Or you could be a normal human person and not spread panic and fake news until you actually know what happened.

Doesn't look nuclear? Do you mean it got bombed?

I can't find any articles stating what dropped/planted it?

It just happened now they say fireworks incident now ...

That looks like a 10 kilotons explosion ... hope it's just a incident in a factory ...
