The snake which cannot cast its skin has to die
I mentioned on this thread i think a couple months ago about having this coin listed on Trex... can't understand why Ambia hasn't done so... Bela's listed on nova too...but ya you can imagine the volume there lol

We have applied Bela for listing on Bittrex, but we don't make the decision on which coins Bittrex lists. That's their decision. Although Poloniex was a little turbulent 4 or 5 months ago, the trading platform is now very stable.

Poloniex has lost all its volume due to new draconian rules and apparently some issues with the law - so Polo is no longer the top Altcoins exchange all the volume went to Biterex so the listing on Bitterex is crucial for Bela.  And besides the management of Poloniex has the bad habit of delisting coins which are not listed on Bitterex - this would kill Bela coin.

Listing on Cryptotopia also would be nice.

The Ambia Fund why don't you add coin on bitterex? it has more volume than polo. And with Polo delisting policies - investors would be more confident if coin would be also listed on bitterex

When we had a hard fork a few months ago to integrate the Dark Gravity Wave mining algorithm, Poloniex was extremely responsive about updating their wallets to be compatible with the hard fork. There's no reason to believe that they won't be as responsive and accommodating to Bela's upcoming hard fork / code upgrade, so there's little reason to pull out your Bela now in anticipation of the hard fork. Anyways, we will coordinate with Poloniex and other exchanges a couple weeks in advance to make sure that they have ample time to upgrade their wallets. If any exchanges choose not to (one small one didn't last time), we will be sure to inform the community so they can take the proper actions (avoiding that exchange, pulling out your Bela on the exchange before the hard fork, etc.).

Hello, because you said there will be a hard fork soon.... if we store our Bela tokens in exchanges(like Poloniex) in this time - is this will be a problem or they have to be in wallet? Thank you for your answer!

I think poloniex will support new chain.

We have significant mining power at http://Minebela.com now (at the time of writing this, it's 20% of Bela's hash rate), so Minebela.com is finding blocks with great frequency. If you're not mining yet, you should! It's a great way to earn passive income, and the pool's fee (only paid to us when a block is found) goes to support Bela's development, allowing us to do more things for Bela in the future.

At http://minebela.com/getting_started, we have a guide on how to get started mining from even a Windows computer. You can get it up and running, leave it in the background, and get Bela deposited straight to your wallet without having to do any extra work.

Hi - I am looking for a script to mine belacoin on a linux pc, I see a windows miner on the site but is there a guide to set things up on Linux?

Belacam Gamma begins closed testing TODAY! We'll be getting user feedback, performing security reviews, and conducting A/B testing with a small group of authorized users. We'll take this data, put on our finishing touches, and then we'll be nearly ready to launch (well, after a large amount of marketing). Exciting times!

Please stick with the official Bela mining pool at http://Minebela.com. We cannot guarantee that other mining pools keep up with Bela updates and may occasionally mine the incorrect chain when we do update, meaning your mined coins would be worthless.

Also, we just now automatically updated all Mac wallets for increased syncing efficiency. No download required! If you have a Mac wallet running on your desktop computer, you're all good. If you do not have a Mac wallet but download one from http://Livebela.com, you will be running the most recent version as well.

Hi,

My wallet won't complete the sync and it's stuck at "4 hours behind". I have correct nodes configured and connectivity status reports 10 connections. Am I the only one with this issue?

Thanks, Leo

Because blockchain was in stuck (hashrate increase/decrease).

Okay that explains, it's working fine now, thanks.
