The Belacoin halvening was successful. Each block now rewards miners with only 25 Belacoin instead of 50 Belacoin. This reduces the inflation rate from ~ 36,000 BELA per day to about 18,000 BELA per day. The supply itself isn't decreasing, but the supply rate of increase has decreased. Sure! We wrote an instructions guide at http://Belacoin.org/windowswalletsetup.pdf. It will work for a Mac desktop wallet if you have that as well.
3 days until the Belacoin Halvening!
Thank you! I followed the process, added the node and the wallet started to sync. Now the current number of blocks and Estimated total blocks have matched few hours back but still the wallet states out of sync and synchronizing with the network is not completed. Solution / advise please..

In approximately 8 days, we have the Belacoin halvening. The halvening is when the block reward for Belacoin drops from 50 BELA per block to 25 BELA per block.
What does this mean?
