I think gamblers intention is to make money but some it is very hard to increase your Bankroll. At that, you will think twice whether to continue with gambling or not. After losing a lot of times and money from gambling it helped me to become more conservative with my bankroll not putting it all down right away. The few benefits to come out of gambling I think are the accumulation of understanding and knowledge in the mathematics behind gambling games. That and just normal entertainment and fun out of gambling.
Yes it is one of the best benefits, but for me math calculations are not something to be proud of. Because gambling is more to a luck, without any mathematical calculations we can achieve profit as long as it has good luck. Entertainment is indeed a goal in the gambling game.

But as I grow, Gambling did really change my perspective towards money and decision making. I became more mature and I must say that I did enhance my strategic awareness. Emotionally, I must say that gambling did really control my temper. I don't why, but whenever I play poker my state of mind became so calm. Even after I lose or win I'm calm and happy. At the age of 19, I learn how to control myself. Mistakes are part of our life which really is good set back for a good comeback!.

To the OP , its nice that your life changes because of gambling in despite of its bad effects that you lose your money but you learn more on it . Its like a state of balance or you pay for your benefits through playing .Not all players benefits of playing sometimes they more getting worst and got to addicted playing without a proper control .
Learning from our mistakes should always be done not only in gambling alone, we can still gamble after we realize what we made wrong because the next time we do it if we really learn is just we stay away from being profit oriented, instead we will just gamble for fun. There are people who easily learn and there are some who only learn when they lose everything they have, we should not wait for that to happen into our life.

The primary benefit of gambling is to increase your bankroll. If you're not increasing it then you're loosing it and it will get to a time if things don't change you might go bankrupt. Forget about those who play for fun, they are better off playing a video game without risking their money's because anyone who gambles his money risks it to make good profits from it and if you're not doing that then you're not benefiting from gambling.

After I lost a lot of money because of the emotions and thirst to get a lot of money in an easy way I consider gambling only as entertainment. For me there are no advantages.
That's true, gambling can just benefited us if they win a jackpot. When gambling didn't favour for us and not win even ones, it's time for us to stop and think before we continue to play again. If people realize this face at least after loosing some money than it saves a lot of money for them but most of the gamblers don't understand this fact. They will still continue gambling at least to recover their losses and end up losing even more money. There is no real benefit from gambling if you play only for money but if you just play for fun with a small amount then you can enjoy your free time and if you're very lucky then can earn some money as well.
