Important Update - The Parity Challenge
What happened?
As some of you have already heard. In the last week, news of a severe flaw in the Parity multi-signature wallet have stirred up the crypto scene (all info here). Although many questions still remain unanswered, it is clear that hundreds of wallets are affected and funds in the hundreds of millions of dollars remain frozen, including those of several major ICOs. Sadly, wysker is also among those affected. While no money has been stolen we are unable to access the proceeds of our ICO and there is no knowing when this will change. But we have a plan.
What’s the impact?
We had to spent the time since the announcement of the Parity bug to assess the situation and evaluate our options. Our primary focus at this time is to deliver on the promises we have made to you, our investors and supporters. This means, we will continue to work full-speed on the launch of the wysker App and on the second stage of our ICO. Unfortunately, the lock-down of our wallet implied that we had to stop our token sale right after the Parity announcement. It also became clear that this unexpected interruption has an impact on our timeline and prioritization. As we focussed our strength on the re-launch of our ICO, other important tasks have taken a temporary back seat.
What’s your plan of action?
After much consideration, we have decided to re-launch our presale today, November 17, 2017 at 14:00 UTC. This time with a minimum buy-in of 25 ETH. We’ll then continue our official ICO on January 31, 2018 at 14:00 UTC with the same bonus structure as we had before until February 28, 2018 at 14:00 UTC with no minimum investment. January 31 is also the new launch date for the wysker app on iOS and Android and we are anticipating that this will further increase wys token demand. We are also announcing today that we are using the extra time until the app launch to make wysker available worldwide right from the start!

Clearly, we didn’t ask for this challenge, but we are bent on making the absolute most of it.
