Actually, I still believe in ETH for the future, but I also believe in XRP. Recently, XRP has outperformed every other product on the market, including Bitcoin. From All of the above, I studied the PundiX project and I also really liked this project and I hope that these guys will still be able to achieve all of what they are striving for and perhaps in 2020 this project will really improve their positionsWith pundix, I fully agree and there will probably be a good growth in the little-known XSN coin, if they fulfill all the promises and the roadmap.
I think the most popular coins in 2020 are XRP and Stellar, i see they are the most promising project in the market right now. I already bought XRP + XLM and hold them in my wallet, i will not touch them in 2 years. I'll wait until 2020 for x5 profits.
No one can guess which altcoin will be good to hold for big profits till your expected year, but if still want to try i will suggest you eos, neo trx, ethlend and can also keep some hardfork coins which you get free and without risk but back up your private key and keep safely somewhere offline also.

Why is 2020?
Ethereum surely will have value in the future. Q4 2019 this year like 2016 then the prices where all crypto/token/coin above the maximum I remember the price in figures $50 and monero litecoin also, until Q2 2017 all look good.

I think that 3 years ago nobody thought that ETH would reach such heights. Therefore, do not look so far ahead. You definitely can not guess which coin will give such a breakthrough as ETH.

You say about 2020, that's amazing but you need to see market condition right now, not wise to say 2020. We need realistic and good reason to keep stay on crypto market but in this situation wedon't have one. I think you need to share your opinion about keep stay or not because this is the main problem.

Your title is "altcoin" but I'll stay say in that bitcoin is going to be the best and most popular coin by that year.
Bitcoin's place is separate. The king is always king. I'm wondering what other coins might be than Bitcoin. I think we should keep the coins like Neo, Wan, Xlm, Ada, Qsp in our portfolio. And definetely nem and dash.
