I began to trust Ethereum. because I see Ethereum has a pretty good development and is able to grow. with such developments capable of receiving considerable attention and trust.
As for me the best coin in 2018 is Hydro, I did only airdrop and I realized almost $1000.

It is amazing how much attention is riveted to ethereum. I wish I knew the future. Despite the current price of the project, it continues to evolve, this is the only correct policy in the current market. Those projects that will not stop in spite of the difficulties will in the future be the flagships of the crypto market.

no doubt about BTC, it's always the best altcoin with the highest value of all. i think next is etherium, LTC and ripple.
2018 turned out to be a collapse for most coins. Even those coins that were in the top 10 fell by several times. This is a very sad statistic.
The best coins are utility coins. Paragon Coin, Canya coin and Dent are the best amongst them. All are in cents and will be single-digit dollars in he next bull-run. They await listings and major announcements. Research on them.
