I advise you to try to invest in NEO for a long term. But I do not advise you to invest only in one coin. You can take a look at PRL, Nuls, ITC, IOTA as altcoin have the opportunity to raise prices in the future.
Can someone recommend me a coin that is still around $.50 at this moment but will have a higher value in the future? I am planning to buy eos but it seems it now on its peak and i might just end up lossing instead of profiting.

Thus I think you are wrong. EOS still has the potential to be great and this is not the highest peak in the EOS. Indeed apart from the EOS is also much like a ripple which is also a nice altcoin for investment. but for that still has the potential to ride course EOS a good choice. Thanks guys!

I had to remove your size not sure why it was needed. There are many altcoins you can purchase for $0.50. What is your reason behind picking coins that are around 0.50 and not few cents or $1? Many people in this thread have made great suggestion so you can pick any of them but you'll have more options if you leave more room for other tokens that may not be around your exact price.
I think it would be nice to purchase for a long term Refereum or Red Pulse. It's a great investment.

I see from the development of many altcoins, I think Ethereum is the best altcoin to hold in the long term, Ethereum price is quite stable and very promising so I think it is very appropriate to hold in the long term.

how about the token spectre.ai (SXDT), since the launch until now, I notice the SXDT price is always above the ICO price, although bitcoin (BTC) is down, but SXDT is not so affected by this.

You do not just rely on advice from others only, but you have to learn more about the development of Altcoin in order to avoid losses. You know the volatility thing about coin and it's not about how cheap the coin is but it's all about the unstable pricing of every coin whether they are under $0.5.

I think it's good if you do your own research if you want to buy those cheaper altcoins as more alts are having hype and its a risk to invest without doing your research.
Buy and hold credits the price of it is now 0.4$ , it would go triple or maybe x10 when the market recovers. They a have a lot of partnership , and beta platform will be soon release.
