In as much that i like this thread, i believe without any doubt that most people that comment on one coin or the other are either the coin developer or marketers, however time shall tell us the best coin to invest in.
Good luck to all of us.

Personally, I think Smart Contracts are actually a really important solution to something the whole of Crypto will benefit from. Therefore, all my investments will be into projects that are developing this and then further integrating this into market places to form an ecosystem.

Therefore Bitbay, XCP, Ethereum, BitHalo are my picks.

Dark and Anon are so 2014, and its getting really really boring.

Doge and Dark because of great community and mainstream

It's funny to hear someone say that Darkcoin is mainstream Tongue

BitShares, because the stakeholders can actually hire developers that would like to work on supporting BitShares as delegates, right through the blockchain.

Couple that with the other useful features such as TITAN and DPoS (10 second confirmation times), and a killer product (market issued assets such as bitUSD), and I think there is a bright future for all involved.

Neoscoin for sure

There developer syntaks is awesome, he build everything from scrap and its a anoncoin that can turn anon off.
Also big features comming really really soon , wont tell what but it will shock a lot people anyway Wink.

Also the amount of coins is decent about 21 million , and with now on 4k sat a bargain.

Just one minus there great developers who will keep working on it, just a awesome promotion team wont harm them.

But in the end quality will win and some will stand out and Neoscoin will be that for sure Cheesy.

I would have to second that, Syntaks is indeed a rock-star developer and Neos is extremely good / promising, it also has a slick php web based interface to the wallet Cool

Check it out:

Yea totally agree you should buy some not as a selling talk, just read about it and you will find out you will do it anyway.

BTW all credits to syntaks again Wink

Think about this project and its particulars:

What if the developer had a public profile practically from day 1, worked on open bazaar stuff on this own because he considered it a possibility, consistently predicted and was on the mark for many trends across crypto, and had running marketplace and real products for nearly over 9 months now, and developed an honest, noble coin and haven't gotten the attention he deserved for his work because he was against all the pump and dump scheme methods that have plagued crypto in 2014?

Here's the latest ongoing with that very public dev who has shown his face, name, living place, business number etc since January of 2014.

This coin hasn't launched yet but has a good plan behind it. Flirtcoin is in development stage and will introduce crypto currencies to the online dating/meeting new people arena. With a large supply it will probably find a place as a tipping currency. So you can send out 1000 flirts to an attractive girl and get a message back what are these? You spark a conversation with her and possibly influence a girl to get into Crypto which is a major limiting factor to its social acceptance.

It's pre-launch right now but here is their thread https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=851123.20

I think Novacoin will do good longerterm. It's been on $25 last year, now just below $1.
Are you still making your maths in $?  Wink BTC rules!!  Wink Wink

You bet I am.

I cannot understand why.

You just need to know if the altcoin is gonna be better than btc. If not, it has no sense to invest in that altcoin

This is very shortsighted. Sometimes bitcoin and altcoins are all in bearmarkets, like this year and US dollar is stronger. I'm not making that fiatplay much but it's good to have the full picture. Ignoring the USD/EUR/JPY etc. is a loss of information. You might as well involve commodity prices like gold and silver since they are paired with crypto's on some markets.

I agree. More information you have the better. But if you're investing for the long term (3 - 5 years) you need to make your maths on btc cos if not you can not know (at least without making more maths) if you could had win more money just investing in btc.

The equivalence in the stock market would be to invest in the index (btc) or pick a few stocks (alt). Your benchmark would be the btc
