I suggest the Creditbit (X11 - POW/POS).I used this coin and it's unbelievable fast.I think it's a very good alternative in latest bitcoin's delays.It's very cheap too, so a very good investment opportunity.I saw that the most coins with so low price go up at least 10x-20x.I believe it will be in 20 cents until July.Only if you try it you'll see how fast it is.It's the best choice for merchants.

Are there other coins like D-notes that offer interest for coins that are re-deposited(to community or developers). These are not pos staking, but interest bearing for 3, 6, 12, 24 months time period like a bank CD.
The best coin to invest is Ethereum. It is still in active development. The price is still low for the time being.

Reading this thread from the beginning without stopping has proven to be quite interesting. It is really cool to see where peoples predictions actually land.

Yeah, Lisk is the next big thing. And just to make it clear, since I saw some people confused:
Javascript is not Java.
Javascript has several advantages, including that It's easier to use and has a vast number of programmers using it.

I have been inspired by your post. Some Googling has led me to a list of 10,000 (OK, really only 9,772) self described JavaScript geek programmers. With their Twitter addresses. Stand by for the spreadsheet, which may take a while. It takes some time to organize a name list of 10,000 people. Then stand by for a twitter blast in the days / weeks to come.

I've been spending a bit of time in the BAY slack and David Zembeck is really talented. I think the pegging is really cool and am really excited about this marketplace.
I am on the edge for IOTA due to a lot of FUD and people calling it a Scam. Had my hands burnt before in ICO.
3 Months ago the coins I played with were I/O Coin, Sys and Ethereum and all 3 have gained good returns.
Next few months I am in mostly Lisk (cautious as too many people are overexcited), Sys, I/o Coin, Bitbay (its time for returns) and Influxcoin. The last 4 seem undervalued at this point of time. I also got my eyes out for Fct, Storj and Sia.
Oh and invested a bit in Hodlcoin but its only because I like Squirrels and to HODL!

the best altcoin for investment has been Ethereum so far. but i feel like it is now over and risky.
