There are lots of exchanges for trading altcoins and many of them are good. I like Binance , it has always been the choice for most of us here although they now do limited user registration which opens some hours every day and for the lucky number of people alone. Apart from Binance, Bitfinex and Bittrex are good option. There is also Kucoin, one thing I like about them is their strong mobile app, but Binance has also released a mobile app.
That is a recommended platform, but now there are many trading platforms available which of course we must be careful to use them, because they are not guaranteed to be good to use, we just don't want things that are not desired in trading our coins and also in withdrawals. So in my opinion the platform you mentioned has become the main one and there are also many altcoins that can be traded, of course we don't need to try anything else if indeed the altcoins that we are going to trade are not yet available on the well known platforms.
