I like AVG for a free version, we get along well together.... it doesnt piss me off with silly sounds and regular pop ups & it seems to find the odd threat every now and again.

Free Avast is good enough. Just be vigilant what you do online. Open suspected files on another computer or vps. Scan the files with online scanner virustotal.com

Please can anyone tell me how good is Malwarebytes and why?

Thank you in advance for your help.

Malwarebytes is great at detecting Malware on your system and removing it. I would suggest you use Avira as a virus scanner and run Malwarebytes to protect you from Malware (which is a killer in the bitcoin scene).

Hmm i see lots of you liek Avira. Wil go check it out.

Yeah Avira is a decent solution if you really need to use an antivirus software - which is recommended if you're running a Windows machine. They're doing quite a decent job, I guess.

Avira because I use it for long time and I never have problems with viruses. Note: The best antiviru is you how? Because you decide which sites you will visit. Dont go to porno sites(just trusted one if you have to). If you downloading from torrent I recommend you kat.ph and download only from this guys ChrisDen Joker_RETURNS Mister.Stiffy, piratepedia ^^nosTEAM^^ and from other trusted uploaders

On my Windows machine I use Avira Antivirus. I think it's a good product and never had any problems with it. I use it for 10 years now, I guess and it detected every malware or virus I encountered somewhere!

I am using Norton. I am happy with its performance. So you can also use this antivirus.
