COINBASE.com best one to me

Nice joke?? or sarcasm?? Hmmm...  Huh

I use Electrum, because it is a wallet as well as cold storage. You can use it however you want with multi signatures as well as integration with hardware wallets. I would suggest mycelium too.
I read Electrum is a just desktop wallet. Do they offer mobile versions too ? I think Bread wallet is most secure one as it is used only on Iphone and with IoS security, even if the phone is lost or stolen your wallet will remain safe.

Yes they do but unfortunately so far is for Android only. It is the only wallet I keep in my phone as for me is one of the most secure wallets. Breadwallet I have read is the best for IPhone. It is boring in android as it needs you to lock your screen of your phone with security measures otherwise won't work. I don't know if that is the case in the IPhone too.

Thanks for suggestions!  If people could give their reasoning for why each program is better it would be much appreciated!  Please no online mobile wallet information if possible.  I do not want to store bitcoins with webpages where they can dissapear in a minute and leave you hanging, like mt. gox.

I only use electrum and mycelium. Its secure and i recommend it for you. There are also online wallets like Xapo and Coinbase. I suggest don't use them to avoid inconvenience. There are many people who are complaining about these wallets. I don't use other wallet aside from electrum and mycelium.

Why do you recommend mycellium?  Just for security?  I think it is mip44?

I agree how reliable cellphone wallet is the Breadwallet, IIRC for IOS and android 6.0 users and above, but even though the last month many people do not discuss the possibility of a hardfork it is useful to know what the developers of any wallet are intended to do if this happen. That means, if they will offer the capability the user to choose the chain which he prefers or not.

EDIT:
i use bread wallet. it is so simple and fast for beginners.

Thx for this, breadwallet looks good!  Is it secure?

I also used breadwallet. Started as wallet for IPhone, but now it also support Android devices running 6.0 or higher.
It is easy to used because its very simple and the security it provided makes it friendly to people new to bitcoin. So I would recommend this to you. https://breadwallet.com/
Another wallet I heard, but I haven't used it is Airbitz. Its also supports both IOS and Android as well. Here's some review I found about it.

- Simple account creation using just a login & password (no printing or emailing of PDFs, writing down passphrases or adding encryption settings)
- Automatic wallet encryption, backup, and multi-device synchronization

I hope this helps.
What is this hard fork?  What is happening?  How is this going to affect wallets?  Can you please explain or post something or show me links on this, any info is appreciated.

If you have Android and are looking for a way to use the same wallet in your PC and Cellphone, I recommend you to use Copay or Jaxx with support for multiple coins beyond bitcoin if you are looking for this. But incase you are using iOS, there is Breadwallet, which is a simple wallet to use.

Currently im using coins.ph since this is the wallet provider in phillipines where we can do easy transaction upon buying some digital goods nor doing some easy withdrawals instantly but this coin is exclusive for filipino people only since it need KYC and certain verification. But if you are a foreign well the best thing to be use is mycelium,Xapo and Electrum you can download their app on playstore.

Make sure you can access the private key if something bad happened.

I'm using Mycellium to store Bitcoin to cellphone and make sure you protect your cellphone because in your cellphone have your money and maybe your friend or someone could stole your Bitcoin.

hi could I get some recommendations for best cellphone wallets and why?  Thanks!

At first, I preferred Mycelium because back in the day I started bitcoin, this is so far one of most popular mobile wallet for Android OS. Plus the fact that Im learning some sign message thing back then which is possible on this wallet that's why I encountered this wallet (Thanks to shorena).

My main wallet for my Android OS now is Electrum Wallet. It established a good name as a desktop wallet so what's more as a mobile wallet. Your's to evaluate why I preferred this wallet.

On my android phone I have xapo wallet and I am using it from about one year and till now I have not faced any issue from xapo. But now it have started the fees so I will also search for other that is the only hurdle came to me in xapo. It was very interesting to use them for free transactions especially for loading my phone

It is not recommended to do so,since you want the suggestion - Blockchain.info. Their mobile wallet is synced with your account on the website too.You can always use the website if you mess anything up on your phone.

Whatever mobile wallet you will use, watch out, because other mobile apps have a chance to steal your coins.
Don't keep big amounts in mobile wallet, it should be change or amount that you can loose.
It's ironic you talking about stealing coins when you've been doing that since forever.

Choose from best iPhone 6/6s
wallet cases to protect your
smartphone and keep your cards as
well as cash at hand. ... This case
is undoubtedly one of the best
wallet cases for iPhone 6/6s and
iPhone 6/6s Plus. ... This wallet
case from Demyure is crafted from
genuine leather

OP opened this topic asking about bitcoin 'digital wallets' in cellphones and not about cases. A good case protects our phone if it drops in the ground and surely has nothing to do with the safety our bitcoins.

As I see you didn't read my whole post. I agree that breadwallet is a reliable and secure wallet but my concern is the option the developer gives to their users if scaling debate ends to  hardfork and two chains. Therefore, in case of split, electrum users has the option to choose their favorite chain unlike in breadwallet which they have not.

I'll recommend that don't use any mobile app from any Web Wallets such as blockchain.info, Xapo, etc that has suggested by others, Why? because once the website/server of this sites(blockchain.info, xapo) dropped/becomes down you will lose all your bitcoin that stored in your account. And there are many people encountered issues with this sites which they lose their coins, but most of them are owners fault.
And I suggest as what others recommend using Mycelium mobile wallet because it's safe to store coins there and it's the most recommended wallet in any smartphones whether android or IOS.

P.S. No matter which wallet you are using, it's not safe to keep big amount of bitcoins in mobile wallet because phone is such thing that it's easy to loose.
Yes, phones are easy to lose that's why in every wallet you have to make a backup, your master seed and private keys in case of this situation which I encountered already, losing my phones with my mycelium wallet but I recover it instantly because I have my backups.

So if you choose already which wallet you like, you are responsible making your coins in a safe place and always do a backup a make sure you have secured your device in any malwares.
