What do you think, what will happen in the future with NEO Why did people forget about this coin? After all, it is very promising in the near future.

In my opinion, it is better to make your own research and trust your guts.

The most of the privacy coins are undervalued right now.

The best opportunity is to find a privacy-related project with a low total supply (less than 100M), that way the price will be increasing much faster.

I recently found one project called Ethereum Meta, it is related to anonymity and untraceable transaction. They have a very interesting project to build the Anonymous E-Market Place.

Most crypto coins are at fire-sale prices so buying any ones you like or do not have is good to do.

I am seriously looking at Cardano, simply because the team is great and it looks to solve the scalibility concerns of ETH. I don't want to bet against ETH but this looks like a potential strong alternative. Watch this space.

I bought some more coins 2 weeks before, I wish I have waited 10 more days. I missed the big chance. I had coins in my mind but I don't know why I had to hurry. I guess I fear them to rally without buying. That was a lesson for me. Right now you can buy a lot of good coins from discounted price and make good profit.

Choosing potential coins too difficult so need to market research and study,There some coins having bright future like:Cardano,Dogecoin,Ripple, are best for investment now and hold with patience and sell out when find best moment.

If you said like that, ETH can't compete with Bitcoin because it determines by price there is no reason to compare these two things in term of price. Both coins have good community behind them to improve so make sure to read carefully.

I honestly absolutely agree with you. Im a software developer and I started interested in terms like blockchain, DAPPs (decetranlized applications) but from the technical point of view. And now I can tell you that this is a revolution. Due to ETH it is possible to create DAPPs really (I mean R_E_A_L_L_Y) simple. Its own programming language solidity is so simple and well designed that every developer after week? or two? is be able to write a Smart Contracts. ETH is a revolution, there are so many projects based on it. In my opinion the price will rise but! in a long term.

Bitcoin for short-term investments and ETH and LTC for the long term. 1000 USD you have you can invest in 3 coins. it's up to you how to divide and allocate it

Of course the best crypto is Bitcoin, then next for me is ETH and NEO. The upcoming coin with a strong potential (from my research about their founder,team, partner,and caps) is VLB (Vehicle Lifecycle Blockchain, and i have mentioned it in this thread too). It is a great project and the team behind the blockchain development is not only QBT (Qiwi) but IBM is on their team too.

Recently they burned 75.000.000 vlb tokens and made the token limited to 100.000.000. Automatically the price per token will be increased. I hope the ICO goes well and my decision this time will make me go to Mars.

When the OP was made 6 months ago on Sept 3 2017 Bitcoin was selling at 4.5K. If BTC was bought then by then by the OP it would have risen to its ATH of 19.5K in December after a dip for a 400% increase, before crashing down to almost the purchase price in early Feb 18 and now be sitting at 10K which is a 225% increase on purchase price.

Fair result for the 6 months at lower risk, but of course in hindsite the OP could have had a 400-500% increase now by trading profitably and right in and out of bitcoin and altcoins over the 6 months with medium risk - and there are other altcoins that could have been bought in early September or later that have given returns of thousands% but at high tisk if you chose the wrong one!

So looking at the same question now in the current downturn the low risk option is to buy BTC and hold, and the medium risk strategy is to buy BTC and ride it up to its next high of 20K plus in the next upturn before putting profits into good and promising altcoins and ride them up and then put the profits back into BTC before the next crash - and the high risk strategy is to buy undervalued and promising altcoins and hold for the gains in the next market upturn. The project I like in this catagory is Zilliqa (ZIL), which I feel is a very undervalued true 3rd gen blockchain platform with sharding for good scalability - and I’m accumulating lots of this at 0.04c which is about 8x the ICO price.

I bet on INS, I think the best crypto to buy now is sp8de the gambling is making in the new level of future usage where the money is always there gamblers never stops. Another is to look for the golden coins that is implementing blockchain 4.0

I can advise you to buy SONM, INS, or Aeternity. Because its very promising coin with many features.
And it's very cheap right now, it's the best moment to buy. If you buy it then hold for about 1 year, I believe it will give nice profit.

Usually I pay attention also to the max supply.
I mean: 1$ each coin is different for a 21 million from a 1trillion supply

My advice to you is go for those coins that is undervalued. Try those below 1$. There are many coins out there, you can check it on coinmarketcap, also consider the team of the project and the marketcap. Also select those low total supply. Good luck to you. Read always.
