From my experience too, altcoins cannot be best investments as they are not consistent in price appreciations. Like you said, only the devs are making big money through creating new altcoins, but the traders who are investing into those altcoins are facing losses due to sudden dumps. Best investment must be good in returns in long term basis, bitcoin must be one of them.

I think KOMODO did the same thing but they just made those who joined the campaign pick if they will be paid thru bitcoin or KoMODO.
The good part is they are offering 10 percent more to those who want their money given with their own. That could really spike the price of that altcoin and somehow good approach. Conclusion is almost all picked the KoMODO token.

Also, We still remember, ICN (Iconomi) or Darcrus where the price in ICO is 2x lower than after the ICO.
* ICN = 20K Satoshi (ICO price) and 40K Sats (after ICO)
* DARCRUS = 2,5K Satoshi (ICO price) and Pump up to 9K Sats after ICO ended.

There is another way to get some free BTC from the website. Create a website or blog and promote it to increase the visitors of the site and then apply to some ad networks which pay in bitcoin and from these bitcoins you will get your free bitcoins.

In fact, that is what the faucets right now are doing they get traffic on their website which is loaded with ads and give people a small portion of what actually they earn, in my opinion this is a very good investment if you can manage your earnings and compete with the others to get more traffic.

Best investments for me would be real estate and bitcoin only. These two really store value and somehow improves it within a matter of time. Also given the fact that real estate would always be a necessity of man and bitcoin would always be a crazy roller coaster make these two a good item for investment.

I too don't feel comfortable investing into ICO bid. It is better to invest into Wings DAO or into ICN tokens. And for some best coins that are good to be invested into are SNGLS, ICN and vSlice. I am invested and planning to hold them for the next 5 years. Your are welcome to invest after carefully analyzing them.

This could work but it is awfully slow you will need a year minimum to begin to see any kind of earnings so at first you will need to be very passionate about the project if you are not, you are probably going to quit before seeing any earnings.

What investment do you want, long-term or short-term? If you want investment in a long term, mining is best solution.
But if you want investment for short term, I suggest you to trading, is better than mining.

Trading is the best because no limitation in profit. Trading is the safest bitcoin investment unlike HYIP that most of them were turned into scam. keep learn you then you will an expert.

i am agree but its only if we have a good knowledge and good experience in trading so we can have no limitation but for new people which is new in trading, then they need to learn with trading so they can be pro trader. i think if we are hold our bitcoin now, its a good idea too but if we want to earn more, then use only half or quarter of our bitcoin to trading, and with our knowledge in trading, then i am sure that we can make good profit.
