Don't get me wrong, I love bitcoin and I think it is the future but it has not withstood the test of time since it only has existed for a few years in my opinion not a single fiat has withstood the test of time, only gold and silver that have been around thousands of years can be said to have done it.

Well we can not know how long bitcoin will live for a long time,. the circulation of bitcoin will fewer in the future.. but i hope developers can take an action before it's happen since we are using it and many investors and company already using it..
So investing for a long time can be still good idea in bitcoin but always check the news about bitcoin so that you can sell bitcoins if there is indication of danger mention in the news.

You are right. Not more than investment in alt coins that as it is very risky. Bitcoin is the way to go and you just need to look back that the charts to see how things have played out.

I guess you are already doing it, having more variety of investment opportunities will safeguard us through distributed risks and from any possible scam. i remember that last year the price of bitcoin is in the bottom but in just 5 month, the price is rise until now we can see that the price is 2 times before last year. so i think holding bitcoins is a good long term investment, we can sell our bitcoin in how much price we want and we can still hold it for a while. but if we want to search a regular income then i will suggest to use half or some of part of our bitcoin and then we can doing trading.

yes that is a fact that every one choice is different from other, therefore for every one their selection of investment is also different, to me i like to invest in alt coins, as i have too much interest and now i got really good experience in gambling also.

You should know one thing that gambling is not an investment, but you need to spend money to get entertainment. If you think just with experience you can win money from gambling then that is the biggest problem, and you may lose a lot of money in gambling. I suggest don't ever use gambling to earn money.

Maybe he meant investment in casino bankroll since as we know gambling cannot be an investment since the expected outcome for our bets is always negative.

Urgh. I personally have taken a look at ICO's as possible investment options, unfortunately, I don't really get technical details, I've tried asking around about it but that yield satisfactory results. And besides, I see too many ICO scams going around. That, or it's all pump and dump.

I guess, high-risk high-returns just aren't for me. Personally, I'd prefer to go with long-term casino bankroll investments instead of ICO's.

Till this day I am still surprised that there are people believing in certain altcoin projects where some people even hodl their coins for more than 6-12 months

I don't really think that there are so many people who actually believe in the altcoins that you refer to. It is almost certain that they simply got caught in these altcoins in their time and are now just waiting out to sell them at any reasonable price to cut their losses short, but they are most likely waiting in vain. This doesn't mean though that they are going to openly admit they made an error and were left for bag-holders. On the contrary, they may even claim that their coin will shoot to the moon soon...
