I never won it, though.

They released the source code to the game in 2002. Someone took that and made The Ur-Quan Masters. A remake of the original with some additions. It's at version 0.70 but "The only missing game feature at present is namable savegames". So now you can try winning it again. If you can cope with those graphics. Smiley http://sc2.sourceforge.net

I did try about a year ago. No dice Smiley

You know, the Interstar Credits (that the Melnorme transacted with) reminded me of Bitcoin quite a bit...
