The nature of the Bitcoin marketplace means that there are a lot of other exchanges out there where you can trade Bitcoins with national currencies as well as other cryptocurrencies. Some of these exchanges claim to do things differently from first-generation services such as Mt. Gox, and some, like Coinbase, have even received funding from venture capitalists. There’s no guarantee that there won’t be a repat of Mt. Gox, so tread wisely, but if you want to start buying and selling Bitcoins.
here is 10 exchanges i recomend to you : http://www.hongkiat.com/blog/exchanges-buy-sell-bitcoins/

Thanks for all the responses but I am looking for a place where I can meet someone in-person, sort of like a bank.  Shocked

I met a local trader on LBC with whom I trade now to buy btc, afaik there are no exchanges who have outlets like that to trade BTC fact to face, which is what I think you're looking for. You can either post a trade request on LBC or here and try to find some local traders who trade with cash but let me tell you it's still not safe, there have been instances of people getting robbed/scammed. So if you do find someone, be cautious.

None in my area, just checked. ATM's require photo ID I believe or no?
I think this is what you are looking for in order to use an ATM. You get verification from visa.

If this is not what you are looking for let me know I will look into it more further.

To get bitcoins from an automated teller machine or ATM you only need a bitcoin debit card and you pin number.
It is just like using the cash ones but it dispenses bitcoins instead to you account.

No they don't. It is just a insta-bank machine but for bitcoin.

Look at google maps for an ATM that is close by. If your in North America there is usually one in very major city center.
