I love reddit and bitcointalk. Reddit is known to be a very good place for a healthy discussion (you also get many people commenting and sharing ideas on one topic. As for Bitointalk, I don't think we'll have to discuss its benefits. They are so many that can't be listed

The best among the rest of all is still bitcointalk. Because this forum is solely made for Cryptocurrency talk. Other site like reddit, have many topics and some are not focusing in Cryptocurrency. Telegram too is one way to communixate about cryptocurrency talk but make sure youre in the right group.

We are going through quite the chaotic transition with the bounty campaigns and things are messy right now.  Lots of 'shitthreads' and their bounty hunting poster masses and all.  A high noise to signal ratio and a redundant signal at that.  Less information than is ideal.

I am glad bounties have not gotten to reddit (don't do it!) thus I read up there.  Quora too.  Too obscure for the bounty corruption to get to.  (he says with a bounty signature)

I'll trust and always use two platform for crypto talk which is Bitcointalk first (Obviously) and second- Telegram! Bitcointalk is solely made for Cryptocurrency talk where Telegram is also using now on that basis. Telegram is second best option for crypto talk because at here we can directly chat with the important person from project and solve any issue. Just we need to join correct groups!

When it comes to market/Exchanges, Check project technology, Coin Supply, Team. there are some basic rules most smart investors follow. And there are countless books, websites and TV shows that lay those rules out and tell people how to apply them.

Some of you might be new to the cryptocurrency game so I've put together a little list here of the best current places to talk cryptocurrency.

1) Reddit - Reddit is a fantastic resource to plug yourself into when talking about cryptocurrency. Most cryptos are born and die on reddit. Some subreddits to look into are r/cryptocurrency r/bitcoin r/ethereum r/cryptotraders

2) InvestFeed - A little known app that is trying to carve out a name for itself as the "social media of cryptocurrency". You can add friends and follow feeds as well as cryptocurrencies to see whats currently happening in crypto

3) TradeTalk - Newly released app gaining traction in the crypto space, claiming to be the "ultimate trollbox" for crypto. Takes the poloniex trollbox idea and puts it into a mobile application, with every crypto exchange and every coin you can think of.

4) BitcoinTalk of course!

Those are a few I could think of, does anybody know of more places to talk crypto?
I only know these places, maybe there are many other places, but I will only read in the forum / famous website only, to be trusted news.

From the moment I had known the concept of bitcoin, I have tried to do some research on how it works and how it affects the society in terms of financial aspect. I have read websites, blogs, and news sites about it. Then I found out about bitcointalk which is a good platform for learning more about bitcoin. It has lots of forums which enable the expert users to share their ideas and experiences to beginners. From the basic to difficult concepts, bitcointalk helps educate everyone regarding cryptocurrency. There are also something to learn from various social media platforms like twitter and facebook through posts about different campaigns.

Telegram is the best place I think. It has all the coins and the communities on there. People are joining every day like crazy. I also feel like Twitter is a place where announcements are first made. It seems like it is said there and then on all other platforms coins are on.

True it also become quite a trend lately to talk cryptocurrency there and has become a requirements by some campaigns before you can participate to certain tasks they offer. I think Telegram is a very efficient and friendly platform for cryptocurrency enthusiast and now my favorite one aside from twitter.

I think the best are Bitcointalk and Telegram. By the way, did you know that there is an opinion that the number of people in the telegram group is an indicator of the company's success. For example, Thekey has about 30,000 people (from recent). In the first place ripple.

Apart from the various resources online, blogs, news sites and personal pages, you should check out twitter for information and telegram for chat. Personally I have found bitcointalk forum really helpful and sufficient. Research is the key to understanding and discussion an exchange of it.
I always take the bitcointalk as the basis of the information well, because all other resources that give out information about the crypto currency are nothing more than an addition to bitcointalk. Only at this forum I learned for the first time all the basics of working with crypto currency and I think this forum is the most profitable and popular for users of crypto currency.

I think telegram and bitcointalk are the best platforms for talking about crypto. And I like Twitter for getting information about icos and their roadmaps.

Bitcointalk is the main place to talk and learn about crypto. Twitter, telegram and reddit are more like supplemental  information.

Do you guys know/recommend places where we can trade OTC too?

You can find plenty of sellers in marketplace section of this forum.

My favorite place is Bitcointalk for the public discussions, and Facebook chat for my private discussions on cryptos with my friends.
