People here in bitcoin talk always says that if you want to get merit dont even try to talk or ask for it. Instead read some good post who just received a merit and try to realized that you can get merit by posting a good and informative post.

In my opinion, I use my knowledge to help others get merits. Don't think that you can't help others. you have to know that everyone has their own strengths. Everyone should be good at using their strengths to help others.

Maybe I don`t understand something, but how can you teach someone how to earn merits, if you haven`t earned a single one by yourself? I agree that everyone has their own strengths. And people should use their strengths for good, helping others. But I doubt that you can share your skills of getting merits with someone. If you want people to listen to you, you should motivate them with your own example. I looked through the history of your posts. I think you need to work on the quality of the published material. Your posts look as if your only goal is to fulfill the bounty quota. If you want to join the bitcointalk community, make your posts interesting, not obvious and trivial. For now, what you consider your strength is your weakness. Think about the fact that you have a chance to become a member of the largest crypto-currency community, to learn from the best cryptotraders and analysts. Don`t miss your chance in pursuit of easy tokens.

I'm just same with u still new member at here still have to more learning to how to make good post to earn merits.

If you have to ask those things, I don't think you're very likely to earn Merit. But since you're not a total spammer, I'll bite. My answer is: "it depends" Tongue
The number of replies isn't very relevant (exception: spam megathreads), it depends on the quality of the posts.

If you want to earn Merit, create something useful that doesn't exist on the forum yet. Have a look at the Top-merited recent topics, read them (all of them!) and figure out why they are Merited.

So we must make that there is new topic at this forum that can make some good information or something helpful for another member so we can may something useful for this forum and make it better

Well, the merit system was introduced to appreciate the quality contributors of this forum. It has nothing to do with your rank and any other thread or topic. This forum is all about seeking and sharing the knowledge about Bitcoin and crypto industry. If you want to earn merit, share the knowledge and motivate others to explore the topic/(s). Never even think of buying/trading/begging for it as it would result in a red feedback on your profile making your profile less reputed.

I guess newbies can't gain merits just like that ,you have to get to Jr member first and then try getting merit afterward.
Rank is not the basis on earning merit's, there are newbies that post high quality content that deserve to get merit.

I remember nullius when he showed up after a long time and shocked everyone on his knowledge and manage to all of his merits right now.

Here's nullius profile: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=merit;u=976210

I feel like earning merits it's a bit random. Just focus on learning and providing good quality information in the forum, and if someone considers your comment/post helpful and relevant you'll eventually get merit. I believe its contraproducente to be here focusing just on getting merit instead of learning about the crypto community and world.

As it's a cryptocurrency based forum the best topic will be regarding crypto. Perhaps some interesting news , tips or your personal experience/knowledge you would like to share with forum members. Alongside there are multiple sub-forums within this forum, each consisting of multiple topic where you can share your opinion, also visit the Beginners & Help Section in order to help someone which can help you gain some merits.

You are saying that almost all topics here are about crypto, if you don't want anything to do with crypto then why are you here, it is clearly stated in the forum name (bitcointalk) meaning here is for talks about Bitcoin which may also include other cryptocurrencies.

If you want to earn merits then find something useful to share in the forum.

You won't earn merit if you only discuss about merits unless you only here to learn and help other learning crypto and sooner or later merit will come and you will be promoted.

Try not to think how to gain merits, consider how we can contribute to this forum and help different individuals and merit will just appear in your account  Wink. Merits is much the same as a prizes for your contribution or for the information you have shared here. You will receive it for sure in the future.

You can check this threads review for merits this will help you in the future if you think your thread deserves a merits.

I am also a newbie like you and also have questions like that, but I am fortunate enough to have someone explain me understand, merit is to encourage people to create a useful topic for the bitcoin or bile market. code rather than creating useless and unprofessional topics and asking for merit...

Follow Jet Cash threads.
He offers merit regularly for written posts on this or that topic. Don't know if there any easier way to get your merit.

Merit needs to be obtained through your efforts, no one can help you, because even if we make a good article for you, you may not be able to get Merit's reward!
