Apologies to all concerned, I will no longer be handing out merit in this thread. Theymos removed me as a merit source because he disagreed with the way I spent my merit. I will leave this thread open and you can continue to post merit requests here if you like; however, I won’t be answering them.

I'm also looking for a thread which gives merit to people who deserve it because at the moment it seems that people hold their sMerits in order to only sell them or give to their other accounts.
In order to get merited nowadays you have to either fight scammers which is very hard and time consuming or just be an old and known member and people will merit your posts for no reason... for example even today people merit Satoshi's posts from 8 years ago: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=merit;u=3

There are quite few numbers here that could help you gain some merits unlike that post from the OP. For the reason the community itself has been strict for giving out some Merits.Thank you
I suggest, to learn more about the English Language and learn more from google, and if you're not yet satisfied you also use the Search Panel here in the forum. They can help you enhance your capabilities when it comes to posting.
And be careful for making redundant posts you can possibly be get tagged for breaking the rules.

The only requirements are
- Use the correct Submission Form
- Ensure that your connections are valid; you can't suspect a connection - prove it!
- Give the Alts Red Paint TM (ie negative trust) - Not a DT - *you* give the UID's Red Paint TM
I am regularly in the Most generous recent merit senders and Most generous merit senders, all time lists.

I tried posting in a couple of these threads only to see the threads removed shortly after. Is there some guideline or rules that need to be followed when creating posts like this?
Some of these are open to senior ranks only. Also, make sure that you make some quality posts before applying otherwise it is irritating for the person giving away the merit points.
