For lots of coins its best to buy a harware wallet such as Ledger Nano - S or Trezor and connect it with Myetherwallet. Remeber that MEW can only hold your ERC20 compliant tokens and no other.
I use jaxx, myetherwallet and electrum, which is much I use this time myetherwallet. Best Wallet for any Altcoin is a coldstorage wallet! I strongly believe other wallets make you lazy over time and consequently make you more prone to be a victim of theft. Cryptocurriencies are great, however you need to always remember that you are solely responsible of your security.

as of now i only use myetherwallet becuase this is develop by the other developers and some other people as well so when i tried it actual true and i use them as of now and i can recommend it to others
there are no other wallet to be recommend because for me it is the best wallet out there and that is myetherwallet this coin can store any ERC20 token and other well knowed altcoins

but MyEtherWallet is not support for another altcoin, it just support of ETH and any erc20 token. while coinomi is complete enough to save some kinds of altcoin, it has good feature, you also need seed in coinomi like in MEW mention as Private key.

you may try Coinomi wallet it support many altcoins to be saved on coinomi, it has quite safe because you need your seed to login. it is recommended for anyone to save their altcoins, maybe coinomi will add some coins to recent update. dont lose your seed or private key. if anyone has your seed, so they are able to full control your wallet and balance..
in my opinion is Myetherwallet is a suitable choice to make a wallet because it is quite easy to use and also many people who use it so most likely more secure and reliable to be made as altcoins wallets.

there a lot wallets support erc-20 token for store your altcoins , a lot people using myetherwallet (MEW) for store their altcoins.i think MEW have a good interface and security , just remember dont share your private key or keystore to other people and download any untrusted software because some software will have malicious code in the application for control your laptop/computer and take your data/information.
