I personally favor coinomi😊

- multi-coin
- built in exchanger
- low fees / customizable fees depending on your need of faster or not really need to be lightning quick transactions
- you hold private keys

Jaxx, easy to install and sync with your desktop (QR Code scan), easy to use. But like CodyAlfaridzi said: It doesn't give you control over your private keys.

What do you mean by that ? I am using Jaxx (windows, IOS and Android) and i have my private key for my BTC wallet .

Coinomi also good for you to try. Support altcoins also.

Today news: Bitcore listed in the coinomi altcoins. We can register coinomi for bitcore next airdrops.

I am thinking about installing a wallet on my cellphone.
The main wallet is on other Devices and / or offline.
In the mobile wallet should be only a small amount for trying to buy something outside or for the ATM transaction or other transaction like exchange BTC with friends outside.

Which wallet do you recommend for a non-technical specialist in the above mentioned case?
Should be as safe as possible, only for small amounts, different coins if possible and fast update or updating in background with low battery use.

Thank you for your recommendations and answers.
I used Coins.ph wallet because this is the one oftenly used by bitcoin earners here in the Philippines, but I also have Myether wallet for ethereums. Try also Coinomi because it can support not only bitcoins and other famous coins like Litecoin, Dogecoin, etc but also other unfamous coins like Clam coin.
