I am a huge fan of hardware wallets when it comes to safety point of view. There are several ways to store Bitcoin in your offline wallet including paper wallets, hardware wallets, etc. You can download the famous paper wallet generator from GitHub and move it to an offline PC and create a paper wallet to store your funds offline. In addition, hardware wallets are another more flexible way to use. And this is a safer way so that others will not know about the Bitcoin we have. Thanks

hardware (HD) purse, which is widely used all over the world. It was the first known purse HD, suitable for storing bitcoins.  Ledger Nano S  is also a popular wallet. Ledger Nano S can easily be connected to other mobile wallets, such as Mycelium, Jaxx, etc., to check balance and other data

Why invent something if there are already long-proven and safe ways and wallets to store bitcoins. For example LedgerNanoS or Trezor.

There's offline wallet that you cn save your bitcoin and no internet connection , we know why hackers communicate to our devices is because of the internet connection that we use. But we don't know if until now the only way to hack or see your account is when you are using online maybe the hackers are upgraded alsp maybe they can hack us even our offline. We need to secure our account or wallet.

Create your wallet and save the file and equate it in an on-site location, but the metamask is also a security-relevant way
The simplest way to store your bitcoin is to create bitcoin wallet and put it a safe place. Furthermore, if you want to make it secure you should not share your password and private key to anybody so that you can assure that your bitcoin is safe and secure. You can also put authenticator so that you could know if someone want to open your wallet.

I always recommend using hardware wallets,

Hardware wallets — physical devices created to keep your cryptocurrency safe. Some online wallets also support hardware wallets.(Dan Podolan)

There are the best hardware wallet
1. Ledger Nano S
2. TREZOR
3. KeepKey

For me I save my Bitcoin or may holdings in a wallet that secures my passcode, it means I am the only one who can access into that wallet. In mobile phones you can download an application that can save and store bitcoins or other coins in a wallet. You can also invest your bitcoin in some site that makes you a better profit. I think these wallets are safer in you will not share your information to other people.

install the appropriate applications on the computer or smartphone. Such purses are safer than online, because private keys will be stored on your device, but they are suitable for rapid exchange of crypto currency. Since these wallets require an active Internet connection, there is a risk of hacking. Jaxx, Exodus, Coinomi - one of the most running uncontrolled wallets.

Hi guys
I know this might sound like a newbie question, but Ive not had enough bitcoin to think about putting any in cold storage since Cryptsy ripped me off when they went down Sad
But just lately ive built myself back up a bit, and just need to check my understanding of a creating a cold wallet is correct ? This is what I think was the best way but im not sure Huh

1. Download latest BTC client
2. move to a pc not connected to the internet.
3. Create an address on that PC without internet.
4. Send fund to address created on PC with no internet access.
5. Save keys in safe place Smiley

Also I was wondering if there are any 100% safe third party wallets that enable quick access if needed ?

Sorry if my question has been covered many times, but I just don't want to make a big mistake.

Thanks
Rick

In my opinion the best way is always a Hardware Wallet. Of course you have to have something to give us up, for the small change is not worth the expense.

Even online wallets are very safe, if you take the necessary precautions. I am not against the usage of hardware wallets. But my question is, why you should spend $100 or $200 on a hardware wallet, when the coins can be stored safely and securely in a wallet such as Blockchain.info?

No matter whatever you do to safely store your bitcoin, if the method you use is something except hardware wallets, it does not make sense. In all other methods your bitcoin can be stolen.

In my opinion, the safest way to save is to use a wallet address, and not to tell the key to anyone.  Wink
