This campaign is well aimed and addresses the risk of reputation damage as gambling grows.

The gambling industry will grow as people are patronizing it, so this initiative is very helpful as we cannot prevent that someone could become an addict to gambling if they don't understand the risk. I guess awareness of the risk has to be consistently reminded and this campaign will have to live and grow more so it will reach all the gamblers in the world.

It's also important that they understand that they blame themselves than gambling when they gets addicted.

Well, it's a good thing to see another companies opening a campaign against gambling addiction. Though I haven't gamble that much but I can see some gambling reminders and gambling addiction awareness sometimes which I think these people are doing it consistently, but the sad reality is that people will inevitably play and gamble in the casino. It is very evident how casinos were growing each and every year before the pandemic. Even after the pandemic peaked one of the first establishment to open was the casinos.
Though, I'm not saying the people who enters to the casinos are addict, but the constant visit to the place is the beginning of addiction.
Well, I only hope it will be an effective campaign.
I would rather see it as a kind of concern which is bit pretending because they do know that the more gamblers or addicts that do play the more revenue that they would have.It is just they are showing off

that they are in concern about gambling addiction but deep inside this is what they are aiming or hoping for because they do know that it would really be an advantage for their business.

Its true that gambling industry is big and profitable which it isn't surprising that they would always prefer on making people addicted to it for having that continuous flow.

One more campaign about Bet Responsibly launch by Entain and Rush Street Interactive (RSI) has partnered with the American Gaming Association’s (AGA). That campaign is trying to educating sports fans and the core principles of responsible gambling. We know that many gamblers become addicted to gambling, so hopefully, this program can help them resolve their problem to be more responsible in gambling.

Hopefully, more and more gamblers can take responsibility for their money and themselves so the addiction among the people can reduce. And people will know that placing a bet in sports betting is fun but they must prevent becoming addicted to gambling.

More programs like this can help people have a responsibility to themselves and help them manage the budget and time to avoid the worst scenario that can happen to them.

I hope the only input that they have to the program is financial - get them to fund it but their name should be nowhere near the resources or education materials being used to educate people against gambling. There is not much education that needs to be done for "responsible gambling" - keep your bets small and try not to place more than a couple each week. If you're thinking about it every day then you probably need to stop it altogether for a long time until you can control yourself.  The simplest lessons to teach them would be finding lots of mathematical examples and relatable scenarios on how you will statistically never win against a casino that needs to at the very least pay staff expenses, advertises heavily and still walks away with millions in profits each years.

These kind of awareness campaign can save very little number of people from getting addicted to it but the majority of the gamblers are not going to take part in such kind of activities. There is no way to stop the gamblers from addiction unless they realise those things by themselves and bet with more discipline.
If that campaign can promote in many places that people can see, maybe many people will be aware of the campaign and want to involve in that discussion. It needs to be more active to promote such things to the public so they can see that some organizations and the government are trying to help people with gambling addiction. It requires awareness from the addicted people to gambling to realize that they really need help from others.

I sincerely support initiatives aimed at raising the level of gambling education. It would be cool if someone could fund a wider dissemination of this initiative through streamers on Youtube, Twitch, etc. promoting bookmakers and gambling. I believe that this kind of dissemination would greatly increase the level of responsibility of gamblers.

Just like most of us here, we are all hoping that success will happen to this intention to help more people to learn more
about the risk of engaging with gambling.
Well it seems you are right --take a look at us here, we are fully educated in gambling, the pros, and cons that we know, the possible negative consequences waiting ahead that we should avoid. All of that because we are educated in gambling, the same in this country that was implemented that kind of campaign, it will surely boost knowledge by their people and be responsible gamblers. Gambling is really helpful to the country, it will produce too much revenue that could help to boost the country's economy so banning instead is totally useless.

It will if the government is not corrupt and they will use the taxes for the betterment of their people.

We all might agree that having the right knowledge about gambling helps people understand both pro and con of this business,
most of us see the value in terms of economic help that gambling industry provides to the government.
Giving enough idea or information will allow citizens of the country to balance everything for those who are capable of setting limitation
they can continue playing and enjoying, while for people who can't this campaign will lead them to a much better outlook of possible
turnaround and the risk that gambling brings to their lives..

It is a good campaign program, when gambling has penetrated to minors and there are many gambling addicts at various ages then there should be an institution that is aware of and guides them.

It's a good way of showing concern about the raging issue, with institution to help informing the harmed that may cause
those young adults and other people who are involve to this activities, as gambling addiction is really one big problem to battle with.

They just need to realize how dangerous it is when gambling can no longer be controlled, and with a campaign like that I think it would be good to serve as a reminder to those who are already in the pit of gambling addiction.

With knowledge, they will have the chance controlling themselves not getting too much engagement, they can enjoy
without getting addicted.

Although basically the responsibility will arise from each individual, but with reminders from others, of course it will encourage them to be able to realize it faster.

Sure they will consider if there's a precautions that will give them idea not to allow themselves to this kind of risk.

I'm pretty sure that the gambling industry has grown bigger and bigger during this covid 19 pandemic. The high interest of people to try their luck at gambling has caused most of them to become addicted so that such campaign are expected. As I thought, the success of the campaign largely depend on the awareness of the gambler himself and those around him. Like some site that help gambling addicts recover their addiction, I believe the aim of the campaign is quite useful and will reach more people all over the world.

With the expansion of gambling, it's normal to arise more problems regarding addiction and at the same time, we have campaigns like this to raise awareness among players.
I believe any honest investment in this awareness is welcome, as much as people say it may not have much effect, I still believe it's better than nothing.
If only 10% of all gambling taxes were earmarked for addiction awareness or treatments, we would be in a much better place.

This is a good initiative and I admire people who are putting up this kind of campaign because it will surely be a big help especially to those who are getting addicted to gambling. It's really important to educate people especially gambling beginners about the risks of gambling addiction now that the lives that are being ruined in gambling are increasing.

Not to mention on how many program does it really takes up until now and I think there has been that exists already before but afaik there is too little effects it could brought up. I think the best mitigation in regards to gambling is more stricter rules on who would gamble locally and online, the government and these gambling house owners would be the one to work hand in hand but I doubt if they do since they care on the monetary side of things.

And its good to have that responsible gambling campaigns to remind those new guys that there's no good on becoming addicted gambler, although this will be hard to follow at first but for sure once they lose their money for sure they realize that its good to slow down thing especially on gambling.

No wonder, this is one of the biggest problems of the industry - the perception that gaming is in general causing tragedies and worsening peoples lives. While there is a bit of that, the fact is that gambling is a great economic engine of growth and the more liberalised it is, the more is going to be. This campaign is well aimed and addresses the risk of reputation damage as gambling grows.

The reason why it cause tragedies nor worsening to peoples lives is they expect to much on it and instead they used their last money for good they choose to gamble it then hope to make their money double that's why it became destructive but if they follow the responsible gambling suggested by government nor the people who advise you for sure we will never came to that point and instead of getting broke we will be entertain then have fun if we have control over our finances on gambling.

And people will know that placing a bet in sports betting is fun but they must prevent becoming addicted to gambling.
Indeed, sports betting especially football is fun, especially at the last minute for example: 60+ minutes with a score of 1-0 it makes quite happy if the end of the draw is 1-1, I will take home what I bet.

Talking about addiction, maybe for me it is still under control even though the chances of winning and losing are big, but still able to judge and make decisions, whether I should place a bet or not, what is clear is that I always use my common sense in gambling bets, so I am a little more relaxed and not provoked by a big addiction.

Maybe with your words about betting and addiction remember me that, gambling must be controlled by oneself, not vice versa gambling that controls us.

This is a nice program at least for those who are addicted to gambling.
correct in this part, Addicted gambler will celebrate about this campaign as they really cannot help themselves from betting.
Quote
I wonder why and how people can easily become addicted in playing gambling s it because they are making good money from playing gambling or is it that they have anything to think about again.
Sad to accept the reality but most of the people that becomes addicted in gambling are the type of people in which very lazy in living instead they wanted to earn easily and don't wanna hard work to live a great life.

Quote
I started playing gambling since 2017 and I am not addicted to it. Is it because am yet to make a huge money from playing gambling or what lol.
Accept the reality that you have no funds to paly with so even if you wanted you cannot afford to play.

As I did a brief quick read on this topic, I believe that gambling like any game can cause a certain kind of dependency in a person. I believe that creating certain "campaigns" to help this addiction is something valid, but unfortunately there are people who keep silent because they do not want to reveal that they have this addiction to gambling.
Hopefully, those people who keep silent and do not want to reveal their addiction to others will realize that they really need help. The government needs to be ready to facilitate this when many addicted gamblers come to them and help them solve the problem. When the program succeeds, sometimes the government is overwhelmed to anticipate the spike for those reporting. Besides that, their facilitation can not receive those who report if that happens.
