Hopefully, more and more gamblers can take responsibility for their money and themselves so the addiction among the people can reduce. And people will know that placing a bet in sports betting is fun but they must prevent becoming addicted to gambling.

More programs like this can help people have a responsibility to themselves and help them manage the budget and time to avoid the worst scenario that can happen to them.
It is a clear picture that the government of the United States has the interest of its citizens at heart and with a campaign as this many would get sensitized on the dangers of gamble addiction and how it can ruin ones carrier and also give them full control of both their emotions and their resources. Its a nice initiative and I do hope it comes out positive

these campaigns are fucking dumb af

Anyone watched that South park episode called "Freemium"? in this ep they creators made a commercial to make fun of the alcohol industry and their shitty campaigns. Check out the video (replace the word "drink" with "bet", works the same for the betting industry with their ads)

This is a nice campaign to spread awareness and can give knowledge especially to new gamblers to not let themselves to become addicted in gambling.

But being responsible on our actions will depend on each of us, even we are aware of the risk and the consequences, sometimes we tend to forget this warnings and follow what we desire and that is to continue to gamble.

I think it will be more effective if they have deep intervention to addicted gamblers and not just a campaign that any gamblers can ignore if they want to.

It is not easy for gambling addicts to change, they will think of winning and thinking they are unique and yet lose and lose often over time. This is a very good but the foundation of what is making humans to gamble needs to be tackled, it is now easy for gambling companies to advertise on TV channels that even kids are watching daily which ought not to be, gambling should not be advertised in this way, gambling should not even be taken to TV channels. Preventing this can also be good but also finding solution to what can help gambling addicts is also nice while also few people that have not yet started gambling can learn this and know how to control gambling than gambling controlling them.

It is definitely hard to change a person from the thing that he used to do if the person has no initiative to change himself first. But good thing that there's an organization which puts those gamblers in top of the interest. Let's appreciate the initiative of the organization which is not only a big help for every one who has already a gambling habits but also to those who just started in gambling journey, this kind of campaign is just a reminder to each and every gamblers and bettors to become more responsible.

this campaign may not help those who are already gambling addicts, but for those who are just starting, this will be a good avenue for them how to track their gambling journey. let's just appreciate the effort of this organization by reaching out to gamblers or potential gamblers via this program. i believe a lot of people have changed their gambling habits during this pandemic, some got worst while others may have totally avoided their games. but anyway, such initiatives like this is needed by some people. so take this as good opportunity to track your gambling activities.

This program will benefit many gamblers, especially those who are educated and understand the implications of exceeding the limit.
It's strange how people who are unaware of the consequences of gambling usually seem to get lucky in gambling, since the curious are always so cautious in their approach but then, they loose everything just overnight.

This is a nice program at least for those who are addicted to gambling. I wonder why and how people can easily become addicted in playing gambling s it because they are making good money from playing gambling or is it that they have anything to think about again. I started playing gambling since 2017 and I am not addicted to it. Is it because am yet to make a huge money from playing gambling or what lol.

It's natural to become addicted to anything, especially if you're the greedy kind, it's not because they make money from the casino, the responsible gambler ones play too and it doesn't occur to them, they do it for the fun of it during their leisure time.
I don't believe there is anything natural for one to be addicted to gambling as one of the factor mentioned iny previous submission most lead to addiction. It seems like you don't know much about what is addiction and how it can happen to someone please read this reply from people who know more about factors that influence addition here

That's a good question, but I think you are right, people who have never win anything are less likely to get addicted than people who have won big prizes. When you've made good profits I think you start to think you can be lucky again and win bigger prizes than those you've earned until now.
Good to know that you mentioned "if you are greedy" in your submission and that alone will take care of your word "natural". To be greedy in playing gambling it can simply means you must have made some money and you want to make more and that process will lead to addiction.

Hopefully.
Some gamblers would just prefer to keep silent on this. They won't take the new step to acquire help even if they knew what's going on.
I hope that this campaign is not just about waiting for them to come. It should be the other way around and they should be able to reach out.
Being shy about it will also be the issue, we cannot minimize the gambling addiction if they won't even visit. Friends and relatives will play a big a part in this if they knew what's going on with whoever they knew that has a gambling problem.
I think this is cool, if we are unable to stop them then just offer a plan.

The addicted gamblers who will voluntarily come for help deserve it, I guess they have learned the lessons.
The gamblers who do not come are the gamblers who need to experience the consequences first before they could realize they needed help. The people who learned their lessons the hard way are actually the people who most likely will succeed to change their vision and overcome gambling addiction.

This kind of campaign is always welcome and very necessary in gambling universe, because not every gamblers are aware about the risks and consequences a bad behavior and mindset can cause them on long run.
Indeed, with better campaign those people will be able to understand the high potential that may harmed them both financially and mentally, a campaign drive that will bring knowledge to have more responsible gamblers instead of letting those people to dive dip and unable to rise back.

In my opinion gambling platforms feel on their shoulders the weight of potential addiction their businesses may trigger in some people, so they partner with similar companies to take action against the problem, investing part of their profit on it. That is an admirable action from them.
An admirable action if they do really feel the guilt. There are some who are partnering just to gain attention, an act that will drive more interest and bring them more gamblers to play, and a possibility of getting into addictions.

I just hope this campaign and another ones of the same kind don't use the "responsible betting" slogan against crypto casinos, discouraging gamblers from exploring this side of gambling universe.
Newer and updated slogan that will give heads up into responsible gaming, not just the same one that annoyed people and forget about taking it seriously.

Not just some gamblers. Majority of the problematic gamblers would probably not reveal to their friends and family that they are already addicted and are losing big. So friends and family should know how to read the signs.
I agree, accepting their addiction is one of the hardest part since it involves changes and others are probably afraid that if they tried to reveal their gambling issue it could potentially tarnish their reputation and relationship between their family and friends.

That's a good question, but I think you are right, people who have never win anything are less likely to get addicted than people who have won big prizes. When you've made good profits I think you start to think you can be lucky again and win bigger prizes than those you've earned until now.
This is somewhat true, I remember there was a comparison about a scenario where one gambler starts winning several times in a row compared to the second gambler who lost it all.

Gambling is an activity that is synonymous with societal ills, so there are many obstacles that will affect the success of the campaign program. I'm not sure the level of success achieved through the campaign is in line with the expected target, but maybe such a campaign is really useful for those who live where gambling is legal. Yes it targets gambling addicts, but without self-awareness and encouragement from those around you then addiction may be difficult to treat.

Almost all the sites I've visited so far remind us to gamble responsibly. This means that there is something that gamblers must do to avoid a severe addiction that can lead to various problems ranging from economic, social, health problems to family problems. So everything needs consideration.

I just hope this campaign and another ones of the same kind don't use the "responsible betting" slogan against crypto casinos, discouraging gamblers from exploring this side of gambling universe.

This is the most used slogan I hope they can come up with a new slogan that will suit the Crypto gambling casino, where every player can relate to and gambling casino operators will accept.

They should do this continuously and monitor the progress of the campaign this will help the industry and the new players from addiction, looking forward to an update on this ad campaign.

A great program that can help every gamblers and not just those who are already addict in gambling, this can also give awareness to beginners about the possible risk of gambling. Some addict gamblers really don’t want to get expose, they just want to deal with this alone and I do hope that thru this program they can now have the courage to face their problems and ask for some help.
This campaign isn't enough to be honest, it's just an awareness campaign so it's not really that effective, I mean the addicted will stay addicted, and the people won't stop gambling even if they're aware, better if there's some real intervention like rehabilitation.

Responsible gambling education should not only focus on the gamblers alone. Part of the education should be directed to people who have friends or family that are gamblers. They should know how to notice the signs. The earliest sign showing the possibility of an uncontrollable urge to gamble should be enough for somebody to call professional help.

More programs like this can help people have a responsibility to themselves and help them manage the budget and time to avoid the worst scenario that can happen to them.

Any program or activity launched to combat gambling addiction can bring huge amounts of support to fellow gamblers or aspiring gamblers in general. The problem with most gamblers is that they feel they have no support towards their addiction. It is crucial that these gamblers have to feel that sense of security where they know someone would reach out to them and support them with their addiction.

Though this depends also on the part of the gambler and their willingness to be helped, the fact that these programs exists is definitely beneficial in the long-run.

One more campaign about Bet Responsibly launch by Entain and Rush Street Interactive (RSI) has partnered with the American Gaming Association’s (AGA). That campaign is trying to educating sports fans and the core principles of responsible gambling. We know that many gamblers become addicted to gambling, so hopefully, this program can help them resolve their problem to be more responsible in gambling.

More programs like this can help people have a responsibility to themselves and help them manage the budget and time to avoid the worst scenario that can happen to them.

This should be an ongoing campaign, new players are coming in and there are players who return to play and gamblers keep forgetting what their mindset should be and this is keeping themselves not to fall into addiction and if we have an ongoing campaign these players whatever level they may be will be reminded not to cross the line and become an addict in gambling, a constant reminder can help that..

There are lots of programs about responsible gambling have been made on the record. Are they really effective in the long-run? There's no stats we can rely on if this drive are really helpful to gamblers. But even with low effectivity, I salute those organizations that don't stop educating the gamblers. It's better to do something rather than just allow gamblers to become addicted.

The initiative is good and they will have my support. I just hope that their effort will lead to a good result. As we know, some gamblers are really hard-headed and can't be controlled no matter how we educate them about the risks.

Addiction is fine as long as everyone is responsible and has a stable source of income to support their gambling needs.
