She supported Bernie and did a couple interviews with him, read an excerpt of that Michael Wolf book with Hillary Clinton, has been criticizing/insulting Trump and republicans pretty regularly for years and I think she said she's thinking about running for congress some day (she's offensive, pisses people off and has a shady past, so obviously that could never happen).

Her past may not matter in regards to the 18-24 year old women who like her music, but it does matter to that age group of people when it comes to guys who lean to the right. Pretty sure it's a pretty common thing among those in conservative younger guy circles to rag on her for being indicative of a double standard.

Pretty sure every single one of us here would try to get out as of much taxes as possible. No reason to pay more then needed. Government isn't going to nicely correct your taxes especially if your someone in Trumps situation, where most of your tax information is compiled by you instead of just being sent to the government through a simple W-2 and some 1099's

He is donating his salary to various causes, not sure if they're charities by law so he may not be able to deduct it from his return. Cause ya know, donating to the national parks service is possible but I don't think they're a charity.

I assume that like, not everything they did is illegal and I think it's fair for us to assume that the NY Times did embellish parts of the story to make it seem worse then it really is. But ya know, rich people and doing illegal shit is pretty common.

I guess you could say incompetence, but I imagine it's a lot easier to get away with fraud when you have several family members participating and many different types of assets and separate companies. The more complicated the better.

imo the tax evasion and bank fraud aren't nearly as damning as the fact that Trumps entire "I'm a self made super successful business man that turned a small loan into billions" is false. Most likely too long for anyone to read. Hard to put that into a one sentence headline which pretty much means that most Americans won't know about it. Not trying to shit on just Americans here, this is an everyone problem - no one has an attention span and wants to do large scale research on topics that they can just be spoon fed about.

Q - Why didn't the IRS or NY State Department of Tax and Finance go after him about this?

Is it just common for rich people to do this so no one wants to go after this?
