I think that if Bet365 continues to only accept fiat, they will face major issues.

Sure, they are hitting up a lot of partners and sponsors but they are not addressing the major shift to crypto based deposits and withdrawals.

There is only so much you can do with promotions and publicity. You still need product dev to sustain your service.

One of the men sitting on the board should suggest to the board that they need to make a major shift or adopt Cryptocurrency the early possible time The cryptocurrency casino industry is growing and old casinos are adopting Cryptocurrency yes they can spend on sponsorship and advertising but many casino players find ease and the beauty of anonymity and options of picking a lot of coins to play as their preference in three or five years their market is getting small.

I saw Nick Smith say the same thing on one of the private TV's exactly quoted by @fiulpro, yes I think UFC & bet365 are worthy partners and deserve their contract to be extended in sports betting.

In my country the Bet365 site, one of the gambling sites that is often used by them in betting on sports, especially football, for the future if Bet365 wants to increase MMA bets on the front page of the Bet365 site, it is quite interesting and the best alternative of course for UFC fans.

So in terms of this partnership between Bet365 & UFC and also MMA, it can be said that the most customers who are good at gambling on the Bet365 site are UFC fans, very naturally they want to continue cooperation in the future.

It is odd they have not done so already, after all the money that moves in the gambling market with cryptocurrencies is not small at all, maybe they just do not want to deal with the current regulations that are in place and are simply waiting until a more favorable regulation is passed? Or maybe they think their position in the market is so dominant that they do not believe it can be challenged by the gambling industry we have in this market? If it is the latter then they could suffer a massive setback, as the gambling industry in this market is always growing and innovating.

When professional sports leagues shut down due to COVID concerns. Sports fans searched for new live sports to watch and follow.

The UFC grew considerably by continuing to put on live events, while other sports went inactive. As a result, 2021 was reported to be the biggest in the UFC's history.

The upcoming weak matchup for the 2021 NFL Superbowl could help to further expand the UFC's influence and fanbase.

I'm not familiar with bet365's platform or features but the UFC has to be huge in ireland given a massive draw named Conor McGregor. The UK I would guess to a lesser extent. It has been awhile since the UK had a UFC champion in Michael Bisping. The UK still has a number of great fighters in the UFC. Names like Darren Till and Leon Edwards give UK fans great representation.

The UFC definitely appears to be gaining notoriety and fans, particularly among younger viewers. Its a great place to be for emerging sportsbooks like bet365. Especially as the UFC has regional athletes in every country that fans and gamblers can relate to.

I don't know why on Bitcoin forum we discuss about fiat bookmaker becoming partner of UFC.
UFC don't have global betting partner, it's all different. In Latin America and Asia they actually have crypto bookmaker Stake as partner. In US it's DraftKings, in Europe, Middle East and Africa it's Parimatch.

Well I am also thinking about this, they are always regulated by the government because they are accepting fiat and I think heavy regulations will most likely be hated by most gamblers. This gambling casino has already a name, it is also reputable and I did not surprise that the UFC extended their partnership perhaps they already built a good relationship which is also both of the will have a benefit.
However, this is not have relative to bitcoin and I think they did not necessary to talk it here.

Gambling platforms have to find exact moment to take advantage of what will give profit to their company like having partnership with UFC or other sports or esports. Let's just hope that it won't become a disadvantage to the site or cause trouble for bettors. I'm sure this would be a good partnership but it would be much better if bet365 could do something to cryptocurrency like introducing it to people who don't know about cryptocurrency. I doubt that some people heard bitcoin in movies or series but still didn't know that it's real.
^ One thing that I only see here, is they want to extend their partnership to extend because it is working and it has profited.
That is how will work on a business, it is a part of a big name this Bet365 was already has shown about their potential of making a profit.
So I think most of here the reason is also about crypto especially in bitcoin which is for sure it brings awareness to the people and when the two big companies will tie-up.

As much as this sounds good for both parties and gambling fraternity ... As crypto enthusiasts we fall out of this extention as bet365 is not a crypto gambling platform, which won't give us the platform to get crypto known to the world but had it being the case then they would have given us the needed coverage looking at how big both parties are.
True but it is still interesting, bet365 is huge and the fact they are interested in extending the partnership they have with the UFC is huge for the sport, after all it is a sport that has received a lot of criticism due to the violence of their fights, and quite honestly I am surprised regulators did not prohibit it on its early stages, so while they do not need bet365 to survive without a doubt it is a step on the right direction for the UFC.

I had no idea about UFC having a partnership with Bet 365 but i was aware of the partnership with Stake. Bet 365 is one of the biggest gambling sites out there and i used to bet with them in the past, but things have become hard to send money as there is restrictions from my bank account to send money their address and to overcome the restrictions i had to pay more and why to do so when we have cryptocurrency  Cheesy.

The casino is fiat base? I don't see BTC logo on their webpages.

I guess this isn't going to make it popular in the crypto community but the "One on one" will make videos available live in bet365 like the ones we see on sportsbet and stake. It's a development for bet365.  Stake sticks in our mind I think because Adesanya as Ambassador, Bet365 is UK base, they should also find an ambassador like Connor.

Bet365 doesn't support any cryptocurrency, you can use debit/credit card to deposit here. But it also supports virtual currency like Neteller or Skrill dollar.
And as far I know Neteller/Skrill support Bitcoin deposit, So if anyone wants to use bitcoin to bet365 then at first he has to send bitcoin to Neteller/skrill account then swap Bitcoin to Neteller/skrill then send that converted Doller to bet365.

though bet365 doesn't support cryptocurrency but I think it is hugely popular in the gambling world (Both crypto/non-crypto communities know this site very well)

Extended partnership means they are both giving benefits to each other, also this is a good sign because sports bettors will have a lot of options where to do sports betting in UFC. I love watching UFC but never tried betting on it, though my friends always bet on it saying that it's better rather than betting on an "online sabong" (cock fighting) here in the Philippines.

I agree, since it's easy to collect data using google for the fighter you want to bet rather than randomly betting on a roaster to win its fight.

It make sense for the company to extend their partnership to UFC. Big sports right now, and for sure Bet365 will be in front of everything so a exposure again and perhaps based on their impressions, it really contribute to the massive growth they have last year.

We all know that online gambling isa big business right now specially that we are still in the pandemic. So casual and regulars gamblers will have to use online gambling platforms during UFC fights and Bet365 name is on the front.

The news is good and a type that should interest cryptocurrency gambler or the bitcoin hodlers. Despite the reason that BET365 is not a cryptocurrency gambling platform the deal that is extended to UFC, first, would introduce BET365 to a fresh variety of people especially the younger generation. Second, Neteller got bitcoin integrated. So, when this new set of people embraces Bet365 a good percent of them will prefer Neteller as their payment method. At that stage they can get introduced to bitcoin through Neteller, However, the number of affiliates from Neteller will not be sufficient to make a huge impact on the market but, it adds to the number of bitcoin transactions globally.

Sounds pretty good imo. UFC has some pretty solid fan base (or the sports itself) afaik, so they wouldn't really lose out with them extending their partnership, not to mention that it has already shown results over the year. It'd probably also entice some users to go into bet365 with this, so it's a win-win for both of them really. The youtube live is also a really nice feature as well, together with their rewards, it's a pretty nice addition to the stuff they could give out to their users, not to mention how YT is pretty much a universal platform now for livestreams.

What do you think ?
It's a really good year for bet365.

Bet365 is the only book i'm using, so as for me this is good news. Or neutral, because i'm not betting on UFC (except few matches). The only question is that i hope that bet365 will not promote UFC too much to the detriment to other sports on platform.

They got the momentum and the extension of their partnership only shows that they've been effective with their agreement.
The extension will still generate them money regardless of how long it is and it's UFC, each cent that's being spent on this partnership is worth it for them. Bet365 might do the same marketing as the others of sponsoring some fighters since they're going to focus with digital content.
