After 4 months. What we are and where are we?

We officially launched BetBTC on early 2015. BetBTC was the first Dedicated Sports Betting Exchange operating exclusively with Bitcoin (like Betfair).
 
On BetBTC users can bet anonymous, without Limits and with extra confidence since all Bets are placed between Users.

Users can request the odd/price they want for their bets. Bets will be automatically matched if there’s interest from other users on them; OR they will be unmatched until someone is interested (Back / Lay Betting).

We provide a vast offer of Sports and League such as Soccer, American Football, Basketball, Hockey and Tennis as all the correspondent major leagues: English Premier League, Spanish Liga BBVA, NBA, NHL and More. On the future we will expand our offer even further.

Recently we have developed our API that allows users not only to read events, list bets and retrieve other account and website data, but also place and remove bets. Our user and bet lists keep growing everyday.

We already count with more than 500 users and our betting counter already exceeds 50.000 bets. More than 50 Bitcoins associated to user's deposits are safelly secured on our cold wallets.

Hey on the FAQ it says that you can cancel unmatched bets. How do you exactly do that?

I didn't know if anyone would be interested.

I have programmed a php library that:

1- Interacts with BetBTC API to get a list of future markets and stores them on a local DB.

2- Reads the Step 1's BetBTC database fields and uses Betfair API to crossmatch those markets with the correspondent Betfair MarketIds and Team Names. Then it records these values on the same database correct fields.

3- Reads each one of the selected Betfair's Marketbooks and stores the best prices / odds on the local database.

4- If since the last database price writing there was a variance on the prices (odds) it uses BetBTC API to update previous bets on the selected market.

This script is running on loop every 10 minutes.

When we have more liquidity and users it may make some logic to open more markets.
For now we need to keep the liquidity on the core markets.
