I have just noticed you introduced a nice bonus.
Does the market maker bets (0% commission) also counts towards the bonus requirement?

Yes, absolutely!  Wink

So the fee is over net winnings (stake*odds-1)? That actually seems much more reasonable.

...

Plus I see zero fee for market makers. I see the reasoning, but does it not mean that if maker side of the bet wins, you get nothing?

You are absolutely right, we charge only the net winnings like betfair (since the beginning), so that info is wrong and will be updated soon, on the next deploy.
And Yes, if market maker wins the bets, if don't charge anything

Sorry if this has been discussed-- what is the normal max bets? how are deposit/cashout times? how are the odds provided?

thanks ahead of time

There is no max bet size. Deposits are credited after 1 confirm and withdrawals instantly. Odds are provided exclusively by other users (user vs user markets)

In the FAQ I read

At BetBTC we charge user's commission based on their gross winnings on a market

and further

Commission is calculated by multiplying your net winnings by the user's commission rate (by default  commission is 4%).

and further an example that cites "winnings of 1 BTC", but does not clearly state if the winnings include the initial stake or not. Perhaps clarification is in order.

... the 4% fee is ridiculous. And this is over gross winnings, which hugely disfavors odds close to 1 and makes odds less than 1.04 meaningless.

Hello
This is not true, if you bet and win a 1.04 back bet of 1bitcoin you will win 0.04btc. Only from this 0.04 profit you will be charged the 4%, wich in total are only 0.0016btc (4%), and your net win is 0.0384btc (96%) .

We are a business and not a nonprofit, this is our only source of income and we are transparent with that. we dont act on markets, bet against our users, and make other shaddy activities like other exchanges do.

Hi,

I have checked out the site and it looks fine, but the 4% fee is ridiculous. And this is over gross winnings, which hugely disfavors odds close to 1 and makes odds less than 1.04 meaningless. Betfair has similar strategy (big fees), but it is profiting of (dwindling) past reputation and range of markets. BetBTC has neither of these, so it looks like a dubious strategy, especially as new prediction markets will continue to emerge. Are you considering its change?

I have the same opinion as you, because giant betting exchanges do not charge a lot, their bitcoin competitor: fairlay charges 0% on sports exchanges. 4% is too high.

Bonus conditions had to be changed due to abusive behaviour like the one seen on your account statement (according to our rules), and others strategies with the sole purpose of extracting the bonus via manipulative ways instead of regular betting.

In your case you don't like the bonus and you were free to leave the site, getting your withdrawal paid on time, getting your bonus and no questions asked.

It seems it's just another fairlay paid spam on this topic, newbie account with single post, writing red and stuff, so it's the classic way. We can all move forward safely.

And fairlay paid me to deposit more than 700 mbtc and match more than 3 Btc in your site?  YOU ARE A JOKE Wink

If you can not keep up with what you say do not promise

About rules What  Rules?

Strategies What Strategies?

What is regular betting for you? for me is matching the bets!  Huh

Son only you want to make money We also want to make money. You have to know that the bitcoin cummunity is quite intelegente!

And for having created a new account here does not take the truth to what I say.

fairlay.com Is 1000 times better than your site  Wink

Why fairlay: Withraw fee 0.0002 Withraw time max. 5 minutes. Commissions 0 More games to bet And more liquidity!

Why not BetBtc Withraw fee: 0.00169796  Withraw time 1 hour some times up to 24h Commissions 4 % on Wins Very few games to wager Very poor liquidity

With this you want me to say that your site is better? Wink
