Betcoin.ag is now owned and run by a new group. We have apologized for the way some things were handled in the past and worked to improve those issues and been quite successful at it. We have also moved on from the past, as have our players, and are looking forward to a bright future as the best online casino and sportsbook.

At the time this acquisition took place, we decided to no longer have a poker room. We did make an announcement that the 43 BTC BBJ would not be paid out and less than a day later, realized this was an poor decision and corrected it with a well-deserved apology. At this point we decided to get a hold of the old poker group to run the numbers and pay out the jackpot to players based on their contributions. When it was determined these numbers were unable to be calculated exactly, we decided to reopen poker to pay this out. After seeing the backlash from players, we realized that people were unhappy with the way we were handling poker. At this point, an experienced, new group saw the potential in BetcoinPoker, took it over and created a new site for it. Betcoin.ag no longer has access or control over anything that happens at BetcoinPoker.

So BetcoinA screws a lot of people, so they decide to change to be BetcoinB (a new company)

BetcoinB says none of all the bad things BetcoinA did is their fault.  They are new! (even though some of the old BetcoinA people who did these bad things now work for BetcoinB)

BetcoinB tries to shutdown poker room with and make BTC43 Jackpot go poof.  This makes BetcoinB look very bad.
BetcoinB promises to return BBJP.  Then says they don't know how.
Players ask BetcoinB to prove they have it.  They say no way!  It's only worth $600,000 ...of course we have that!  We rich!  No need to prove!

Instead, BetcoinB decides that now Poker is run by BetcoinC! (aka BetcoinPoker)
Any problems with BetcoinC is not BetcoinB's fault!
Players at BetcoinB are forbidden from posting about BetcoinC on BetcoinBs forum!  If you make post post, it will be deleted!  You must go to BetcoinC and talk to them instead!

Of course, almost nobody plays on BetcoinC and there is no forum or player chat and it's impossible to talk to management.  The BBJP is pretty safe.

There are no unresolved issues with any of our current players and no one has been recently banned on a long-term basis other than you. As we told you, the poker post was taken down because that company is run separately by a different group.
