Thanks everyone for assisting with clarification for anyone that may have been confused.  At the time of Event 20 which had the $150,000 prize pool that was equal to 35 BTC.  All payouts to Betcoin players are done in BTC and we included the payout structure, GTD prize and all the top winners in the article.

If we did not pay out in BTC the article would have read Betcoin Poker's LetsGumBol Wins $150,000 Event #20 and More!  Considering Event #20's total prizepool was $150,000 we did not consider this to be confusing, but we certainly understand how it could be.  We like the suggestion of including The and will certainly consider that next time.

Betcoin poker players have been performing very well in these great tournaments.  It's time for you to earn some life changing bitcoin!

guess who's back
hi Betcoin so I'm not sure if you can help me with this but here is the story
one year ago ( or a little bit less or more ) I introduced one of my friends to betcoin and transferred to him 20 chips , he wagered like 2 chips maybe and then forgot about the account , he is not bitcoiner though
so a couple of days ago I was telling him about how the price of bitcoin is moving , and he said to me that he still have the chips in his account  but he forgot the username and the email he used

I tried to search for transactions from my account but couldn't find the old transactions , so is there anyway you can check for me the username or the email address for that account

as I said the only info I have about it is that I sent 20 chips to it , and that account never made any deposit or withdrawal
hope you can help with that , cause my friend went crazy when he knew that the amount of chips I sent him is now worth like 150$ , it was less than 10$ when I sent him ( not that big but still decent money  Grin )

EDIT : thanks a lot , support helped me with getting the account back

this thread isn't nearly as active as it used to be... anything going on, or is it due to the sports book being down for all of the football season thus far?

Betcoin Poker's LetsGumBol Wins 35 BTC ($150,000) Event #20 and More!

He won 6 or 7BTC($31k), not 35BTC.

The tournament had a $150k USD guarantee, no guarantee based on current BTC price.

well they aren't trying to hide that , they posted the payout structure and it clearly shows that he won 31K
they said that he won the 35 BTC (150.000$) event , that's the event name anyways and it makes the headline sexier maybe  Smiley
not sure what's wrong with what Betcoin said since they even posted a picture

Maybe we have different way of understanding words/sentences, but when I understand from the announcement is that Betcoin tells us that Letsgumbol win 35btc. If they want to say like what you said, so I think it should be "Betcoin Poker's LetsGumBol Wins the 35 BTC Event #20".

Keep in mind, there was no 35 BTC event.  These tournaments are run by WPN, they are the ones making the Guarantee. (in USD)
When you buy in through Betcoins client, your Bitcoin is converted at the current rate to USD.
If you cash, your USD is converted back to BTC at the time of your cash.

Are you new here?  Most people in this forum know how to convert from their native currency to bitcoin and vice versa---> it's not very difficult.  Here is a link that might help you: http://www.dummies.com/education/math/

Well I do think there's something wrong with Betcoin claiming all these big tournaments have BTC guarantees, (especially when they advertise them days in advance) because they don't.  They have USD guarantees.

When they make a post or tweet or article with the headline "Betcoin Poker's LetsGumBol Wins 35 BTC ($150,000) Event #20 and More!", it's not a stretch to think some people might think that LetsGumBol won 35 BTC.

I'm just trying to get the facts out there. Wink

They have this habit of misleading people from their announcement s.

Example: when they say you get tickets for commenting to the link they post here, where in fact you just get a chance to win a ticket when you post.

Since a couple of days, there is a new label in the affiliate overview section. I have a couple of referrals and the overall status is inactive. What does inactive  mean in this case? Unfortunately I could not find an explanation or a description.

Due to a persistent amount of abuse of the affiliate system the inactive status is with regard to an affiliate that does not have deposit activity on the account within 30 days, however with a simple ticket we are manually changing our valued affiliates to active even if their is no deposit.  We had to do this to improve the quality and services for our affiliates.  Inactive designation does not effect your numbers or tracking.  We have take care of you and you should show active within 24 hours.  Thank you.

Will the sportsbook ever open again for business?  Feels like it's been close to a month!

Is betcoin the next one to go down?

The sportsbook will be open again for business and we are in beta tests with it now.  Unfortunately programming takes longer than we all want but we are excited about the new product.  It could be available by Friday, 13, October 2017 and we will certainly keep you posted here:

After my debacle with NitrogenSports I plugged my nose and gave Betcoin a chance. In the last month I realized a few aspects of the site that made me no longer be involved with them in any way.

I was going to use my last 250 Ticket and walk away but I spoke on a issue yesterday and was blocked today for having a different opinion on how they ran this 250 TY promotion. Little on how yesterday was for me..

I log on to register to a weekly tourney only to find out they are allowing every one to play and they chose not to announce this to early to keep people from multi accounting the hell out of the tourney. Supposedly, this is the reason for making everyones ticket worth nothing in the process.
The whole perk was that the field tended to be small and you had a greater chance of cashing, I played and some how it kept under 70ish players.
But the issue stems from them having another tourney labelled 250 Thank YOU running as well. The support in chat repeatedly stated it would most likely be cancelled and I figured I would contact support to at least get a screenshot to show I was concerned and watching people still register well my ticket was not working.
Support responds by giving me a copy and pasted response about not knowing about a second tourney and then killing chat.

This support issue tends to be a ongoing issue and I find if you get cute in any way you get the run around or stalled. So I said I was not happy with the promotion and they ban me! Does this sound like a group that you want to put funds with in any form of trust, knowing they lock accounts left and right?

The BCC fork issue was a eye opener because I gave them benefit of the doubt till they decided to suddenly listen to the players after 2 weeks and except BCC! That screams scam and they have yet to make good or prove this is not the case.

I sent them some multi account reports to see how they handled these things and it went back and forth and I thought I was getting somewhere which was awesome.
But then the exchanges dried up and they proceeded to erase any evidence of me reporting any players. These accounts I reported also are blatant and obvious and they wrote chip dumping down to aggressive play!

I advise people to stay clear of this platform as they appear to be more crooked than NitrogenSports and everyone knows how I feel about them.

What was your issue with Nitrogen?
