How do you actually use the free spins? I played Arrival and it was taking money from my free play credits, but how do I actually use the free spins? do I need to exit the bonus area and play those slots in regular mode? thanks
When you click on the bonus widget or the link at the top it will show you the image below of what free spins you have and how many free spins you have.
When you click on the slot that you would like to play it will tell you how many free spins you have.
Within the slot it will count down how many spins remain.
When you are done with your bonus it will thank you for playing and return you to the normal game.

I notice when I click progressives on the top of screen I'm taken to some slot options. Then if I hover over the slots it says "progressive: no". are they progressive payout or not?
