Hello, BetInAsia!

Here (https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.56141338), you mention that residents of UK, USA, France, Sweden, Netherlands, Turkey, Singapore, and North Korea are unable to use BetInAsia service due to your license requirements.

However, you might know that Betfair has its own restrictions too.
Let me explain how it looks in practice.
For instance, we have two persons: one person is resident of Czech Republic and the other is resident of Spain.
Both can register at bet-broker and get access to the Black platform.
But once they login to Black and select the event the picture may look like:
https://imgur.com/XbLCd6j

That means the residents of Spain are unable to place bets on Betfair via Mollybet, because Betfair themselves impose these restrictions on all residents of Spain.

btw, BETDAQ and Matchbook impose their own country-restriction as well.

So please clarify, residents of which countries are unable to place bets on Betfair via Black platform?

Hi Bitcoin Talk members,

To all who are following this thread, we are glad to inform you that we are expanding our crypto payment solutions, and now you can deposit via Tether (USDT) to fund your BetInAsia BLACK account.

Once you login to your BetInAsia Portal, click the Deposit section and then select the Crypto category.
Here you can find your Tether address and fund your account.

The procedure is similar to BTC; once you make your deposit, you should inform us at [email protected] with your amount sent or the TX-ID.

Important Note: USDT Tether has ERC20 and OMNI layer transfer protocols. Depending on your USDT funds and address, you should deposit using the correct transfer protocol. Sending your USDT coins to the incompatible address may result in the loss of your deposit.

You can contact our support team at [email protected] or live-chat if you need more information using Tether to fund your account.

Kind Regards,

Hi everyone,

Thank you for all the questions and the discussion opened.
The website is the same but the UI/UX was improved and we implemented more professional account management for our players can easily use all of our products and services. By registering on the https://betinasia.com/ website you will have one central Portal account that will integrate all payments, kyc, transaction history, and of course your betting accounts. From the BetInAsia Portal, you can make E-wallet, credit cards, Bank and Crypto deposits, and withdrawals from one place. You can for example make transfers from your BetInAsia BLACK to your Orbit Exchange account from the Portal.

Also, you do not need to complete KYC for you to use our test-demo accounts once you register. All the login details for the test accounts are visible and available from the Portal account. We strongly encourage you to check them out to decide your further actions. But to open a real account you will need to complete the KYC procedure as part of the compliance regulations. KYC is needed to stop and prevent manipulation and provide trust between both parties. Players benefit from their account being verified because there are examples of services that can withhold payment on verification excuses. Regarding restrictions, players from UK, USA, France, Sweden, Turkey, Singapore and North Korea cannot use our services due to BetinAsia license requirements.

As some of you mentioned Orbit Exchange, yes we provide OrbitX accounts at BetInAsia. OrbitX is a Betfair Exchange white-label with the same markets and liquidity. The commission is 3% on the winning bets. As pointed out there is no API or software integration. But the design and functionality make it a really valuable product.

Thank you.

So this casino will not require any KYC to withdrawals as long as the it is not a huge amount or a winning coming from the Jackpots. I tried looking for the FAQ page so I can get some useful information especially the KYC requirements or the information about their licenses if they have some.

I visited their terms and I see that they are licensed to conduct online gaming operations base on Curacao license so I will not be surprise if they will require KYC in their casino platform.

Checked the website.
Loved the color combination.
But it's sad that before giving a try to the game, we need to complete pur Registration in order to get inside the site.
Many Gamblers including me don't like when we are unable to see the features of the site before Registration.
Moreover as you mentioned that KYC is mandatory, then i can guarantee you that, this will surely reduce your site's traffic by 20% as many people don't like sharing their personal info online.
Moreover some sort of Promotions can surely help you out to catch high roller Gamblers.
Nevertheless Best of luck with your business.

I don't see why people would play at Orbit when Betfair is much, much bigger.

Because Betfair is geo-restricted in gazillions of countries; the exchange that is. So only option for these people, like me, is to go via an agent and use Orbit. You have the same liquidity, odds and everything else. It's just missing an API to use trading software, which is a big disadvantage and you have to adapt to it. And then Orbit - and other WLE's in the past - have their own way of making some extra bucks, which is a bit risky and explained here.

As far as I know not everyons is required to process a KYC form in order to play and withdraw their balances on their account.
I guess most legitimate and reputable online casinos are doing this, where they only require kyc forms for those jackpots and huge withdrawals.
But yeah, I think it still depends on the casino, that's why I make sure that I'll be allowed to withdraw without the need of kyc before playing on their site.

What is Orbit's reputation like? I don't see why people would play at Orbit when Betfair is much, much bigger. isn't Orbit some kind of Betfair clone or do they use Betfair's api?
Trust is the most important thing for a broker, if you are just starting out it is quite difficult. Can only be obtained by processing withdrawals quickly.

~ anyways KYC is not just for asking privacy it is also for the players protection.
How does a platform holding your personal information about player protection? If I'm not mistaken, regulators wanted all these information because they want every player to pay their taxes correctly and make sure they don't launder money. It's for control and not protection.
I don't think this applies to everyone of us, I have not use this platform yet but if their gamblers are coming from different countries, then how does our country's regulators be able to get an information from the site when the site is registered in a different counry?
ha wat? site registered in x country dont contradict to the regulators because the gambling site was still online and anyone can access it anywhere they are in this planet or the site themselves are the one that will send the details to the regulators .

kyc isnt applied only to some country but if a website ask kyc all gamblers are not exempted in that rule and kyc can be a gamblers protection because tax evasion is a against the law .

not just gamblers but it also protect the site or the owners of it because they can be tagged as illegal if they wont follow that

You might have misunderstood the function of regulators. Regulators in China does not have a power over the USA gambling site if that USA gambling site will accept Chines gamblers, regulators from China can't request or demand an information from a certain gambling site regulated in USA.

That's my point, we don't have a universal regulators where such organization  or agency has power to regulate every gambling sites regardless of where it's operated, hopefully my point is clear and understandable.

An example, gambling is illegal in China while it's not in USA, if we have one regulator, there should be one universal law to be implemented.

It seems the site need to use VPN to visit for some countries because I can not visit my IP Grin
I can access the website from my mobile phones without any problem, and I like the website's design.
With the requirement to do KYC, I think that will not be good for the crypto user because many crypto users will not join the gambling site, which has KYC.
They will prefer to use the gambling site, which doesn't require KYC because they don't want to send any verification document.
Maybe you can use KYC for the member who wins 0.1 bitcoin or deposit the money for more than $500-$1k, so you can know your customer.
But I don't try to register on your site, and maybe I will do it later.

~ You will still use https://black.betinasia.com/ as your Login window to your BLACK account. The KYC procedure is part of the license regulations that we, as a provider, must comply with before we open the account or provide payment. This relationship builds legitimacy and trust between both parties.
Platform killer for us at least. Notice how most casinos thriving here don't enforce KYC upon sign up. Yeah, it builds trust in a way that players will have to trust you not to do anything bad with their personal information.

Hi everyone,

First of all, thank you for the really valuable feedback on this BetInAsia BLACK thread. We have addressed many of the topics raised and updated our UI to meet the exclusive betting service that we offer.

You can visit https://betinasia.com/ to Register to our new central all in one Portal account where you can manage your payment, kyc, transaction history, and test/ demo accounts to all the products we offer, including BetInAsia BLACK.

You will still use https://black.betinasia.com/ as your Login window to your BLACK account. The KYC procedure is part of the license regulations that we, as a provider, must comply with before we open the account or provide payment. This relationship builds legitimacy and trust between both parties.

We are crypto-friendly, and we have BTC as a default payment option, but we can assist you with Ripple or Litecoin for faster transaction times.
For more info, you can check https://betinasia.zendesk.com/hc/en-us to find more details about our service.

Thank you.

Most of the gamblers really hate KYC requirement but most of the genuine casinos who have a license are forced to require a KYC in order to follow the requirements in their licenses.

This is the problem if the governments are involved or a certain casinos who wants to operate legally. The customers or gamblers are in the disadvantage as they can't play without submitting their KYC's.

It's also a disadvantage if the casino doesn't require KYC for sure they are not licensed and you can't file a case to them if they manage to cause a problem to you but there are some casinos that have license but doesn't require KYC anyways KYC is not just for asking privacy it is also for the players protection.

Yes, they have a very strict KYC and we are not used to such policies and procedures. Many people including myself will not deposit and bet on the BetInAsia site because of this requirement.
Yeah maybe if they could exclude users who will only use cryptocurerncy or maybe conduct some basic KYC such as asking for number and email address and for the crypto users only and for users who will use fiat then they could ask them for the KYC including valid ID.

Currently there is same policy for the crypto user and the fiat users. If they relax the KYC for the crypto users, the fiat users will not feel good about it or maybe they will shift to crypto where there is ease in the deposits and withdrawals.

Well in short KYC really is not good in online casino but we can't blame them for following the rules on their license.
