Does anyone have status on the following players for this matchweek:

Isak
Saka
Maddison

Thank you.

Isak - Newcastle United face their most important match of the CL group against PSG next week, and Isak will likely lead the attack, thus he will likely play less or no minutes this weekend to cool off. Wilson will get things started.

Saka- He was sighted at the gym today; his injury does not appear to be serious, so he should get some playing time.

Maddison - He hasn't had a scan on his knee yet, and he'll most likely receive one tomorrow or next, but his injury situation is unclear for the time being, and I don't expect him to be pushed back into the lineup. To be safe, I'd do Maddison to Son.

It looks very nasty, and many players have been sent off for far less than that. Even with an appeal, Chelsea will still not get the red card to be rescinded.

Pochettino has to face reality, be pragmatic and select the best alternatives for Chelsea's visit to Craven Cottage. No Gusto, No Jackson, No Chilwell!

Chelsea are already in a bad position on the table in number 14. If they lose this game, they will find themselves closer to the bottom.

I was hoping the club will appeal Gusto's red card but they didn't. Shit.

Even if they did, there was no way that decision would have been rescinded, it was a straight red card, and it was a worthy one so surely that one is going to stand, the best thing that could happen is not getting additional match ban and he didn't.

Nope! Watch the situation again, he got to the ball first before the Aston Villa LB collided with him and he went with only one foot. If it were Klopp, he would be all over the club to appeal that judgement. Our management is a joke.

The distance between when he got the ball and how distant the Aston Villa player was when he saw the leg and collided with him was obvious. Seria and Laliga A ref won't give a damn. This is a yellow card offence.

The red card was review, from the picture you posted, it only suggested that it wasn't a premediated foul, and it wasn't intentional, but sometimes it's actually not the intentions that counts it's whether or not it was a foul that could have led to a serious injury, and yes that was the case here because the follow through after Gusto had apparently touched the was a one, and it's literally underneath of his both that caught the players ankle which makes it a red card offense, the referee was in perfect position and issued a yellow card, which I also agree with at first, after the replay, there was no escaping that red card, intentional or not really doesn't matter in this case, and below is the final contact on the follow through, just a glance at this picture makes it an easy decision, even if the follow through couldn't have sighted from the first instance.

I've got my eyes extremely on Gabriel Jesus, but he's ability to stay fit as a fiddle is the only thing I keep questioning.

If Palmer wanted playing time, he should have gone to Brighton or maybe Bundesliga.

Bundesliga could have been it, but at Brighton I really doubt he'd have as much playing as he could get at Chelsea. Brighton have way to many options and all of which are doing really well, so it would have been a more tougher squad break into compared to Chelsea that are yet to figure out their best starting xi.

Cole Palmer looking like another, because he was very good for Manchester City in the few games he played, or maybe he has not yet settled down into the club.
I wrote here on the forum about Palmer transfer as soon as it happened. I wrote something on the line the most stupid transfer in this window, bad for all concerned parties.
Chelsea gets another young player in position where they have several and where Sterling (arguably their best player) prefers to play
City looses their product and player that just started having some importance
Palmer exchanges his youth club where he is getting more and more minutes, at the moment Mahrez goes away, for the club which is way worse and he will have even less minutes despite that.

Really don't know how that one got agreed. If Palmer wanted playing time, he should have gone to Brighton or maybe Bundesliga.

I transferred Alvarez in Nunez's place by thinking that he would score goal(s) against Nottingham Forest last week. However this transfer caused me to lose very valuable points for me.
Alvarez is still a very good choice for the next GW where Manchester City will play Wolves. Alvarez for me is one of the players who I think will score in that game. So still expect points from him.

There is cancer in the club, and the moment you put on that blue shirt, you are affected.
I agree with this, João Félix is a good example, see him flourishing now, Cole Palmer looking like another, because he was very good for Manchester City in the few games he played, or maybe he has not yet settled down into the club.

I'm not doing bad at all compared to my first season. However I could have been much higher in the standings if I didn't make some very clear mistakes.

Try telling that to Igebotz that, ‘Chelsea is in deep shit and see if he believes you’.
I don’t think 4 points is anything just in the FPL except in the case of a double game week where your sure to profit from your sacrifice of 4 points as you can easily cover up from 2 games. Again, if you used it to get a player like E. Haaland. Other than this, you just might not be hitting the mark.

No lies detected! We're only a few games into the season, and I'm already exhausted. Hopefully, we'll be back stronger next year. There is cancer in the club, and the moment you put on that blue shirt, you are affected. BTW if you have any Chelsea attack it's highly recommended you take them off before price drops.

No, you can only use one chip per GW. That is when tactics come into play. You do wildcard week before bench boost. Tripple cap in small double like that city one and free hit in a week when half a league does not have a fixture. Best part of the season for me and one where players give up and stop playing FPL when they realise they have 2 players with fixtures and no chips to navigate.

Only the strategist survives blank game weeks.

As you can see in the image above as well there are two matches for Luton and Burnley on September 30 and November 3.
I am only awaken to the situation just now and I must say, the price lies in Burnley but Burnley,,, that’s Kompany with some defensive strategy and can’t say the team has been doing great at there games but, Luton Town haven’t proven there better either. Would be looking into getting a player from either teams later but, didn’t really have my eyes on any player on both sides.

This match doesn't look like a game week to target the double fixture aggressively the better team being Burnley are also facing Newcastle  in of those games making it rather not so worthy chase defenders from the fixture, and if you consider Luton being the worst team the league too. It's rather better to chase Midfielders/Forwards that have chances of playing in both fixture, Morris has been a pick for me, but I'm not heavily investing on this game, their are other players with a single match that seem like more viable options compared to players from either of both teams.

This is not that double GW when you want to use chips. There will be better ones in future. For instance City plays in world club championship and will have blank in gw18, with probable double in gw20. Which would give them a fixture against Sheffield and. Brentford in that week. Perfect for tripple captain on Haaland if Brentford game actually gets added there.

GW18 blank is confirmed while double is just predicted.

Is it possible to use both at the same time? I don't have Haaland in my team, but I plan to use a free hit during the week in which he'll have 2 games.
At that point I can also use the triple captain or not?

And after I use both of these, I'd simply get my old team back for next GW, correct?

When is this double game week actually happening? I have been patient enough with my chips as I've always looked forward to deploying them whenever there's a double GW to maximize returns.

I was thinking of using Wildcard however I have decided to wait for now because the value of the players I want to transfer has increased. I hate making transfers in exchange for points. But I had to spend 4 points to remove Jackson from my squad.

It wouldn't be a surprise for me if he makes a hat-trick after his suspension. Cheesy

Well its only 4 points to remove him and we all know that Chelsea is in deep shit right now so isnt it actually a good decision to remove him unless you have other subs on the bench that could get decent points

As far as I know one of Luton's matches has been postponed because their pitch wasn't eligible for Premier League standards. Therefore they are going to play two matches this week. When you come to the pick team part on Fantasy Premier League page it shows the valid matches for that gameweek to you below.

I was watching an FPL YouTube video earlier and heard that we'll be having a double GW soon and I checked the calendar but didn't notice a double for the next 3-4 GWs. Then icopress says:

This week I brought in the Luton striker for a double game week

thanks for clarification regarding third free transfer, so when have 2, will use 1 for sure

Why not both instantly and hope nothing bad happens the week after  Roll Eyes

Glad that this week Im getting above average, slowly crawling out of this bottom ranked pithole. 80 points is currently my highest, I think I've never got over 100 points even on last season (?) so Im aiming to get one this season

We are talking about what happens when you use wildcard or free hit chip. In those cases you don't get free transfer. I am just not sure if you just don't get it or you are brought back to 1. That is situation that almost never happens.

thanks for clarification regarding third free transfer, so when have 2, will use 1 for sure

regarding this above, when you use Free Hit, you get back to 1 free transfer, if you had two in round when you used it
made that mistake last season, so pretty sure that it is it (I think that you basically lose all free transfers with Free Hit, and get one for next round, but it is same outcome, you have one after Free Hit)
not sure if that is same for Wild Card, probably is
