Somehow, my best results are always during these low-scoring rounds but I might struggle in the next few weeks as four of my players are in a questionable spot.

Also, I was on pace to win another free bet until things ended unexpectedly in the Tottenham match, pushing me back by a few points.  Tongue

As far as I understand it was in my favor  Cheesy
I don’t really expect to win any prizes in this poll, so I’ve already started thinking about what strategy to come up with to win at least a few yellow caps. And then, quite by accident, I won one right now (by the way, it would be nice if this was officially announced by someone, since I still doubt it haha).

@Igebotz To close the chapter on refereeing, I like what Ange said post match about 26 years of accepting referee's decisions, good or bad. I'm the same, both playing and watching and even FPL "managing". It's VAR tinkering and theatre forcing everyone to wait, is what I can't stand. Football is sacred because of flow and refereeing -- human, mistake-prone, but we accept it. VAR is actually borne out of people whining (which is why I didn't like Klopp whining) and not being able to move on. Now people must sleep in the bed they make.

Ange made a lot of sense there, but there was nothing he could have said about those actions; he has a lot of dirty players on his side, which could cost him a lot of points this season. Poch additionally addresses coaches openly lamenting terrible decisions and the need for them to remain calm and follow proper process so that they do not generate or convey the wrong message about the league. He was talking about Arteta and Klopp without mentioning names.

Holy shit Anthony Taylor will officiate out game against Manchester city this weekend! So the bald head was only demoted one weekend. Lol

My first week below average so far. Considering that Salah and Watkins played against Forest and Luton, that's definitely not something I expected.

I feel confident with my team for the next few rounds though - City's got a tough patch so I won't switch for Haaland yet. Might maybe replace Maddison - how serious was the injury?

Nothing serious, he wanted to continue playing, it was the coach decision to save him from potential hamstring. He will be available this weekend. The best sub this weekend should be Halaand.

Nobody knows for sure yet but Agne did not even comment on the issue. Hasn't stopped lots of blokes from selling him though (I haven't - the int'l break is only a week away).

But you should captain Haaland against Spurs though, now that they are without 3 2 (Udogie has a 1-match ban) of their back four for that match, they have reverted to traditional spurs. I might even bring in Foden or some other attacker by that point, but a blank GW18 makes that complicated.

By injured I mean really injured not just flagged in FPL. Those flags are just info and plain wrong often.

Something I learnt last season. I used to even sell players when I saw many flags. Saka has been on a flag several games, and still played (I benched him but didn't matter he subbd).

Haaland, Cash, Burn, Maddison, Van de Ven all injured (Did I miss someone?)

Udogie and Romero straight red cards

Some people's squads have turned into emergency rooms overnight, that's not even counting players who were already injured

have non of all mentioned
seems that I don't play this game right

late goal by Mitoma, and Newcastle having cleansheet ruined my decisions this weeky and costed me a lot of points
but it seems that this was an unusual week for everyone, when I thought that my game is over and hitting bottom, it is not that bad after all

Can someone explain why my missing midfielder was replaced by a defender? (and not the attackers, as expected). This also means that the player lineup has changed automatically.

If your first bench player is a defender, then that person is going to come on even if he is injured. FPL does not sub according to line-up formations.

That's why you should always shove injured players to the last place (right side) of the bench.
That is partly correct. Injured player will never enter from bench. By injured I mean really injured not just flagged in FPL. Those flags are just info and plain wrong often.

Subs are always the same, first player on the bench that played at least few seconds in the match that does not break formation rules. That means it will change your formation unless changing it would mean you are switching to the formation that does not exist. Your team must at all times have 1gk, 3 def, 3 mid, 1 att. Everything else goes.

We could be having a real selection problem on our hands

We are handling them the first L of the season, they are our noisy neighbors and we do know how to beat them. Palmer and Sterling to be on score sheet.

So Chelsea delivered as you you said although Sterling didn't make the scoresheet nut he has made some returns this gw regardless. I'm sure no one aside Chelsea fans expected this match to turn out this way. Tottenham get their first loss in a disappointing fashion. Even more surprising is Jackson being the star forward for game week 11.

Congratulations to everyone who performed well this gw. It's officially my worse week yet with Salah, Watkins, Maddison, Haaland blanking and Romero conceding 4+ goals and a red card to go along with it  Cheesy

Sterling had another humiliating performance; despite being the most experienced player on the attacking line, he continues to waste possession and make poor passes in the final third of the pitch. I'm still surprised he didn't score a single goal.

I'm sure Tottenham fans didn't go into the game with full confidence, knowing how bad ass we can be whenever we face them.

Fat red arrow for.me + losing Maddison.

I was able to collect only 27 points this week. I assume that this has become the week on which I collected the least amount of points since the game started. If Tottenham didn't start to play with 9 players I was sure that I would win a lot of points from Son-Maddison duo. If I kept Jackson in my squad he was going to make me win all the points he made me lose this week. He can be a very good player in the future. But now I don't think he is a player at Chelsea's level.
Only 29 points after two Spurs players were red-carded and -4 points each...

Damn...

Maybe it would have been different if the Spur's defense hadn't been red-carded, but I think that's what happened Jackson led the goals in this match.
I think it's just the ease of 9 players, if it wasn't like this I think Jackson would have had a hard time getting his goal.

This week has been terrible for those of us who choose captains like me for Salah and others for Haaland, I made a last minute change from choosing Mitchell to Udogie because he was in doubt and it was the best thing I did, with 15 points and I saved -4 points because He was expelled, and I am one of the few who has Palmer plus 10 points. I hope they give him 2 bonus points. I scored 47 points, not bad for a strange week.

Lol You literally left out the FA Cup and League Cup robbery in order to make your scumbag club look better. I expected you to compel every decision, including the FA Cup and league cup which you robbed us of. Fans of Arsenal and Liverpool should not grumble because there is nothing to complain about. Every club has benefited in some manner; the only option is to demolish the entire technology.

Liverpool's performance against the league's worst team was embarrassing. I'm still under 20 points.  Angry

Fantasy Premier League. Not Fantasy mickey mouse cups heh.

Besides, VAR only used when Prem League teams are at home in FA cup, and no VAR in EFL cup, so I don't have verifiable data, too lazy to help make Chelsea look more of a victim than they're making themselves out to be. Maybe petition your club to invest $100m in some snowflake trauma therapy instead of attracting more crybabies.

Also, not interested in making Liverpool look better. No need to fix what ain't broke.

We were embarrassing, worse than you say, I completely agree. Please Blues, do better against Spurs... can't bear seeing their no-loss record.

I'm not asking you to make us look like the victims here; I was just startled when you let Arsenal play the victim card with your statistics while leaving the FA Cup games robbery. We can't change what has already happened, but I'm glad Chelsea got justice after signing a more than 100,000-signature petition against Anthony Taylor. This decision would make other refs more cautious in their decisions.

We always have good results against Tottenham, and if we don't earn at least one point tonight, we're done.

41 points. Expected much more from Nunez, but I did get a cute goal from Diaz, who remained in my team. So there's that.

Noooooo man, this had to be the weekend where i cut the gap a bit between the Haaland guys and the Haalan't guys Tongue but Liverpool was a shit and Salah not score a single goal or assist.

What a strange weekend, no goals from Haaland Alvarez Salah Watkings and so on.

The worst of them all is Alvarez, who played as the lone attacker when Halaand was substituted off in a match full of goals and yet couldn't get any, nor did he earn any assists, and it appears that he does play better when Halaand is on the pitch creating space for him. I'm sure Halaand would have gotten two or more goals from yesterday's goal feast. Liverpool and Aston Villa both played poorly, and it's difficult to blame them.

This will probably be the one game where I hope Chelsea run riot and give Cole Palmer over 9000 goals or sometbing  Cool

Yup, I was confident I'm gonna catch up with Watkins and Salah after Haaland drew blanks. Really a weird round, nothing went nobody's way I guess.
I expected at least a CS from Tsimikas, but Klopp put Gomez there instead.

I finally made some changes and went for Son, with Odegaard being the victim. Arsenal's got a nice run of games ahead, so hopefully it won't be a big mistake.
