If you want Newcastle player it has to be Isak for sure? I am thinking battle for golden boot is wide open and both City and Newcastle will do their best to get that trophy for their strikers. I know I am captaining Haaland or Isak as it stands until season end. I am expecting them both to play all minutes and take all penalties plus get more of the chances after the games are already won.

I mean, it kinda aged like milk.

Isak just missed a penalty so maybe he loses out to Wilson.

It's hard not to captain HAL 9000 now, if you even have in in the first place.

At least I have enough funds from my transfers this week to upgrade my third striker to him.

@trofo - as usual you ignored my question. This season you're just greedy with tips.
Didn't ignore it, I thought you were asking for GW37. I don't think anybody would ever use a TC chip on single GW so I shelved it to answer after all info is known. If you want answer without all the data Haaland or Palmer in GW37, I would go Haaland since he seems on the rise while Palmer seems a bit less dangerous these days.

I would not TC Haaland right now. He is not as oiled as he was when I TC'ed him.

Much better idea to TC some Arsenal attacker in GW37. Or if you really want, Foden or Gordon. Or maybe Palmer. But you're not going to get very far with any of the forwards at this stage.
Foden ok, but no way anyone would give TC to Arsenal player when they play one game against united while City has two games, against Fulham and Spurs.

Haaland on the rise… Just what has he done lately to be on the rise? I’m like last season, I just don’t see Haaland doing any good as much as Isak would do in this GW or the coming GWs. As for Palmer, he might have under performed in his last 2 games but, being the star man for Chelsea puts him in the spotlight to lit the team and his been sought out by most of his team mates now. For Manchester City, I think that person is Foden right now although, Pep’s player rotation can greatly surprise your picked team.

Forgot to do the necessary changes to my team yesterday and was busy watching the Everton game not knowing I had missed my transfer Deadline. All I can do now is hang on to hope!

Lol. Thanks Grin

A nice start with your Eveton assets, you're back to the top. I burnt my 8 points lead to have a team for the entire of the season, no more taking of hits and my team is ready for the W37 DGW and possibly TC chip. My only concern now is Gusto but he's back to training and could start from the bench.

I love the fact that all of us went with different Capt options this time, surprised no one went with Halaand.

Watkins and Raya are among the oldest survivors of my FPL. Even kept him on when he was injured.
Raya has successfully been able to clinch the golden glove award this season, and although he did well, a big part of that success can be traced to our very good defensive line. Pickford, who was a contender, had his dreams smashed by Elijah Adebayo of Luton in the first game of this GW. He made sure that Everton were unable to keep a clean sheet and finished off Sambi Lokonga's long crossing pass brilliantly.

Are there any extra points for having any player who is the winner of an award at the end of the season or final GW?

Another gameweek and another week where i forgot to change my team. Thank god all my players are playing.

I have to spend my bench boost, if i still not remember im gonna not spending it or spening it on the last round in a late and maybe useless call.

Just check and round 37 seems the correct one to spend it.

You have no Watkins, that is his secret. Watkins is going to tear apart all the teams that don't have him. He is like a Harry Kane regen. How did you think buwaytress held on to first place for so long?

Watkins is a shoot and hope option - Nigga can go 5 matches blank without catching a break. Couldn't do it again dead Chelsea not sure he gonna do it against Crystal Palace and Liverpool ( excluding BHA) you should have him.  Grin

Buwaytress will not be there after Tonight  Grin Palmer will push him out.

Watkins and Raya are among the oldest survivors of my FPL. Even kept him on when he was injured. I didn't do the math but I think he and Saka are the biggest contributors to my tally this season.

Palmer..? He better do something, after wasting space on my midfield for 2 GWs! Oh and... Darwin still in my team but lost his captaincy. To... Palmer.

Come on Palmer, do something...

I cant see the game but when i see the result i think, ok lets see what Palmer do.... and for my surprise no goal and no assits super sad, and more sad having Son in my team also doing nothing in the match.

Totenham say goodbye to UCL i think after this result.
It’s strange indeed for Palmer not to perform in a DG, perhaps it’s due to his being out in GW35 but he seemed really fit and pretty determined though, his plays and quick thinking yesterday was right and precise. Trying to get most of the passes and direct the game for Chelsea. Palmer nearly assisted Mudryk from one of his runs but, Mudryk didn’t get his R2 right. It was close but, off target. It was a waste of captaincy still, could have gone with Isak.

You missed Nicholas Jackson, he scored today against Tottenham, but it still does not take him out of the group of players who were expected to really perform this season but ended up disappointing us who had him at one point.

If Nicolas Jackson had actually converted all the missed opportunities he had to score, he will be among the candidates currently for the golden boot. Next season may be better for him.
Maybe, just maybe next season else, his just wan terrible attacker. He really needs to build something with Palmer if he hopes to do better or shine. Lots and lots of shooting practice and quick thinking when facing the goalkeeper. That’s what he needs, his positioning ain’t all that bad and his been looked for but, his just got bad finishing, so unreliable but, next season though. Chelsea still needs to sign a proper striker.

The list of players who let us down when we all expected much from them is endless; but for me Son and Salah top this list. Watkins and Darwin are in the same WhatsApp group as far as I'm concerned.

You misunderstood, it is not that I don't want to share what will hinder Newcastle, it is that I don't know. That is why I will tell you after the game  Grin

I just have a feeling that something will go wrong. Clubs that get the most faith from us are the ones that usually disappoint.

Lol. How did I miss that ....  Grin

If you had a gun in your head and one in your balls, who would you choose as a worthy TC option from the remaining fixtures?

What's stoping Newcastle united from scoring 5+ goals against Brighton and Manchester united weak defense? If I were in your situation I would look more towards Newcastle assets for the DGW. Still in my drafts
I will tell you after the games  Grin Didn't think it was possible for Salah to get basically nothing in last 4 games either and here we are. If I learned anything in FPL trough the years it is to always expect the unexpected. We still have a couple of big surprises to push trough for sure.

That being said Isak & Gordon look as must haves for all Newcastle home games, their away stats are quite bad though.

The only clear reason I could leave out the Newcastle combo is their away game form, and Isak is sure to be dropped in one game for Wilson, but not having both is risky. I might come across another surprise differential option, but I'm not going to think about it until after Thursday's game.

Share me your secret, I'm not your rival I'm deep bottom.  Grin

Like Liverpool, I fumbled all attempts to achieve a top place finish in either of the leagues. Its disappointing but it is my belief that I'd pick everything i learnt in my first FPL season and do much better in the next. I started poorly and thought there's still plenty of time to remedy the situation but guys like Trofo are always scoring high even in very terrible GWs.

I will see off my last 3 gameweeks to see how well I can finish the season. For this GW, I got Mateta and Palmer back in my squad. LFG

Ok, i got it. It’s a completely logical system that allows to at least slightly protect those who are in the lead from the alliners.
As for transfers, I’m surprised that they can be done even during the GW, I thought that they are done once before the start of the GW. Damn, I should have learned more about the mechanics of this competition, maybe I would have been a little more successful in this case.
You can do the transfers the for next GW as soon as current one started but it is actually quite stupid to do the transfers early. Usually that means you take the player and he gets injured and then you have to do another transfer.

It can help you catch some price rises but when it fails it fails spectacularly and it fails quite often  Grin

Yes, I understand that it is expensive in terms of lost points. But if I see that the current week cannot bring me a yellow cap (let’s say half the games are played and I didn’t get points from the players I was counting on), then it’s reasonable to make “free” transfers for the next GM. This way I will “pay” from the already lost GW and prepare immediately for the next GW and not for GW+1. Am I thinking correctly or did I make a mistake somewhere (let’s leave the risks of injury aside)?
If you make transfers now, you are paying them in GW36. As soon as deadline for GW35 passed all transfers go to next week. That is why cryptofrka did them now, he will pay in 36 and he hopes to win yellow cap in 37.
