As expected, GW1 winner title and 50$ free bet on rollbit account go to Harkorede. Congrats man 104 points to open up the season is spectacular. Salah captain and inclusion of Havertz were the moves that propelled you up the rank. Now you need to defend it against Haaland captain next week.

He has really made a solid start to the season. I was never thinking Havertz in my squad however he entered the season quite nicely. I was absolutely waiting for more from Solanke on the first week. Even though he found goal opportunities, he didn't manage to make use of them. Still when we think his last season performance at Bournemouth, I think he has potential. By the way didn't Harkorede collect 91 points?

Harkorede you are looking golden for GW1 title but still not confirmed.

Must be really nice to get half of the entry fee back in just game week 1, right ? Especially If I can put it to good use  Cheesy Cheesy

I'll send you a PM with my Rollbit username  Tongue

---------------

I foresee long game week 2 for we the Haaland-less teams, Man City vs Ipswich match will be one of the longest 90 minutes of football, I guess.

I just noticed that not a single player sent us their Rollbit username. Interesting considering we are awarding 50$ free bet to the round winners there. It will work in the following fashion:
1. when each GW finishes I will proclaim the winner, if you have a telegram bot it will notify you
2. at that moment you send me a pm with your Rollbit username asap. If you know you are the winner feel free to send me ahead of proclamation and save some time
3. Hhampuz is our liaison with Rollbit and he will be in charge of crediting them / sending them to the winners

Harkorede you are looking golden for GW1 title but still not confirmed.

I can only hope my spurs player bring me back to life in this first round, because im in the bottom. Anyways i see most of the points awarded are for the Salah captain and not because so many people had a very good round.

That team is going to get smashed in GW2+ without City and Spurs assets

Lack of Man City assets I'd agree but I really don't Spurs player to be an assets just yet and he's got himself decent and should be able to navigate game week 2 pretty fine, as the saying goes it takes more than Durag to get you waves, he's got a pretty decent defense that can be rotated easily and doesn't look bad with the Liverpool and Arsenal players he's got. I still believe that team should score well above average if rotated correctly, and points at hand is better than potential points, I believe.

Whoever this guy is, imagine deploying your bench boost chip to absolute perfection in just Gameweek 1, while almost everyone else will bother what to do with it for 30 good weeks.

My midfield letting me down...... If you have Chelsea assets, don't sell, our fixtures looks great and we should be able to cook.

I'll be ride or die with Nkunku, hope he gets to play 70+ next game, not really fair to make an assessment vs city in the season opener. They did look much better than most of last season so that's good!

Not going to spend £10.5 on Palmer though, not yet at least.

Save the £10.5 for Osimhen he's coming to save us. Palmer did look sharp though but £10.5m is really going to kill his ownership % unless he starts accumulating high returns like last season.

Harkorede we are familiar with your game , always starting high and deeping after few rounds.  Grin

Osimehn for £10.5 ? I'll stick with Havertz please, Lol! You can see my team name now, I didn't come to play this time around bro.

Pedro Neto looked quite bright as an attacking threat and he was providing a fresh idea to the team style when came on, but we all know how fitness can be his trouble, if he stays fit and secure a starting spot within the team, I find him quite attractive for a £6.5 price tag...

I am laughing because @Igebotz left a merit on this.

Chelsea were not cheated in any way; all the decisions by the VAR officials were justified. Still the same problem from last season: creating enough chances but not finishing off.

I don't care about the Enzo first-half penalty incident, but that Kovasic handball is an apparent penalty (obstructing a good pass). Surprisingly, VAR did not bother to review any of those incidents on screen. I don't care about today's score; we had a good game overall.

I was expecting a draw, at least with the many options.

Raheem Sterling was excluded from the team, and his management went online before the game to question his future with the club. He is still a good player to me, but I do not think he needs to continue at Chelsea.

Didn't want to go with Nkunku, one game shouldn't mean much and I still think he'll be a good pick but not if they keep playing Jackson and tossing him wide. Chelsea has 6 good wingers in their team, a few bad games and you can sit the next 5-10 out easily.

Happy with most of my picks, turned out better than expected. Saving a transfer, I already know what to do in GW3.

icopress, a good start for us both.
Yeah y’all both did and it’s such a nice pace @Icopress, your Havertz and M. Salah investments paid off real good. Haaland yellow card didn’t let him get full points but, it wasn’t a bad one.
His one guy I had a hard time deciding to let on my team. His way much over priced though, he gets the goals and points but, I hope to see that compensated for and even more from other players.

A good start for you Icopress, am going to be on my heels once more, chasing you like you’ve got my candy, of course you’ve got my candy as it is, lol…

Not an entirely rough week for me though, let’s see how Spurs and Leicester city turns out.

Bottler 3.0, seems you’re already preparing your stronghold somewhere around the bottom.

Not buying it, take your L and make peace with it  Cheesy Tongue Tongue

----

No Rodri, Man City midfield still got Kovac'ed...

------------

Chelsea really did had some great spell that could have or should have turned into at least a goal to earn them a draw, I guess, but Anthony Taylor and the VAR team had a wonderful day in the office imo, I couldn't find an unfair or clearcut controversial call.

-----------------------

Romeo Lavia should be 90 minutes guy, he was a better player than Caicedo today in my candid opinion not just about the ball retrieval ball, he's got a better forward passing communication than Caicedo, if you ask me.

Nkunku doing absolutely nothing and getting hooked at 58' is shocking.

If this keeps happening then I'm going to have to look for alternative 6.5m MIDs.

I knew he was always going to be a gamble but I wasn't expecting it to bust this badly.

Man City with their first goal under 20 minutes and it's come from Haaland, now we've got to spend the rest of an entire 70 minutes ball watching and hoping he doesn't do anything more, right, what a pathetic hope to have with this Chelsea disastrous display defensively  Sad Sad
There's nothing much to see from Chelsea's attacking line, but still, Nicholas Michael Jackson dancing in front of goals. Cucurella harassed Doku so much that Pep had to take him to the other wing and bring Savinho to his side. It worked; the goal came from a long Doku pass touched a little by Silva for Haaland. Haaland will get another goal in this game.

Pep doing what Pep does, I was expecting Kyle Walker, not Rico Lewis.

There is absolutely no way anyone should have expected Kyle Walker to start ahead of Rico Lewis today, I mean if they followed Man City preseason matches especially the last few ones, Lewis have been playing and every single indication have been towards him starting today, even apart from Kyle Walker also having some personal family issues going on with him.

Rico Lewis might surely not be a solidified player to start for Man City, but you really can anticipate a lot of more playing time from him this season, even if Walker is fully fit and healthy.

Chelsea should try to seal the Osimhen deal.
