I got scammed by this scum too for Amazon GC and he still has the gall to go and post in his self moderated thread. Frankly I dont even understand why mods allow self moderated threads. Its a hive for scammers to do that without anyone posting. All his vouches have been newbies that all have trust issues.

^ Exactly. In this case, I truly wasn't paying attention which is my own bad, Ive connected with a lot of people on here and done good deals and totally didn't do my diligence on this one just not really even paying attention. It wasn't that much money but I guarantee you karma will fuck this dude up royally, and when it does I want him to think of me first  Wink But I agree its ridiculous that the thread is even open.

It's so sad that one person could be such a low-life scum bag.  Hopefully he will O.D. on the drugs he is buying with his scammed money.  If he even has a mother it's highly doubtful that she will even notice her little cockroach is missing.

I find it remarkable that this guy JAAC has now been blatantly scamming for over 6 weeks and hasn't yet been shut down.  All the excuses in the world don't hold water.  He's an obvious thief yet he is let to continue on.

Jaac isn't the only scammer in digital goods section here... Always remember that a seller who locks his thread or moderate it himself is obviously afraid of negative posts, and is then obviously a scammer.

I guess you didn't FIRST read his trust.  Moderators will delete your (this) thread and let him go on forever.  Best thing to do is just keep posting on his thread every time he deletes your message and disregard all his threats because he hasn't got a clue.  He's just a low life common thief.

Erm.. No they won't delete this thread, although it would be better if the original poster would follow the format defined in the sticky thread called "Scam Report Format". The best advice for people selling giftcards? Avoid them entirely, as it is unlikely an escrow could help you in this situation and unless you know the seller personally; they can disappear at any time.

But one would think that it is so obvious a thread is fraudulent and outright theft it would be deleted.  Even that is meaningless when the low-life scum can easily come back under another alt (as he did 2x that I am aware of).  The only way to prevent it is to not allow moderated or locked threads in digital sales.  Yes, I know people should be able to take care of themselves but why make it so easy for low-life scum-bag scammers like this JAAC(off) to continue stealing?

Aside from the fact he is a low-life thieving moron which is obvious there needs to be at least minimal protection from scum like JAAC(off).

If only it could be true... But the guy is most probably at his computer laughing at your picture or talking to his next victim.
I can understand that suspicious threads aren't moderated until there's no proof of culpability (innocent until proven guilty) but here he's a professional scammer. And a newbie that don't know how the forum works really will be caught in its Web. The scumbag lives from his scamming thread and no one can stop him. I should do the same myself, maybe.

OOOOOhhhhhhh You are so smart.  You caught me! So why can't you do anything with your information?  Oh I know!  Because it's WRONG.

I still love you though so don't worry.

Love & kisses

Jaac is obviously a scammer I don't understand why he's not banned, him and all the accounts that vouch for his fake selling thread. People are allowed to scam others without being stopped here?

Simple answer? Yes. Scams are not moderated.

People need to use their own judgement and intelligence to work out if a user is legit or not. This is why we have the trust system. DT members will tag an account such as jaac with a negative rating, which in turn gives them a red "Warning: Trade with Extreme Caution" under their username. If that isn't enough to warn someone, then I don't know what is.

That's pretty damn screwed up though. Alert all the scammers, then. They can carry-on selling here indefinitely without ever being shut down. That's kind of crazy.

I'm not even a newbie, I just got too comfortable with all of the positive trades Ive done in the last year and just didnt pay attention this time, but definitely, part of me -  and I assume many other users - had some assumption that blatant scams wouldn't be allowed here. Not that scams cant happen, they happen everywhere, but that they wouldn't be allowed to just carry on once exposed.

LMAO - Nice try AGAIN asshole.  Like I told you the last 12 times you're 6000 miles off course.  But I still love you and am having so much fun driving you nuts.  If you think your fake shit bothers me you are obviously mistaken. So crawl back in your mothers hole scumbag and keep yourself out of jail.

Dosvedanya

P.S.  Honey Bunny - if you know all this why don't you do something about it?  You have been threatening me for weeks.  Obviously your threats (and your information) are as phoney as your sales.  Kisses  xxxxoooo

if someone locks or self mods their thread, its 99% a scam

Right.  But all the newbies don't have a clue.  That's how this scumbag raises money for his drugs and prostitutes.
