As you know various exchanges launching every day and also attracting traders and users through airdrops and various benefits, I suggest don't deposit any big amount in any unknow or new exchange, Bitbtc is a big scam exchange.
What is making those traders and users run from their previous exchanges, they say that the devil you know is better than the angel you don’t know. I know that some of these exchanges has a way of sweet talking users into using their platform, by promising them lots of bonuses and this what they usually use to trap them.

Traders needs to really watch out, not to because of bonuses trap themselves into an exchange that is not known and cannot be trusted, because what the users of Hitbtc got is exactly what will happen to them too with these exchanges if care is not take. There is need to prevent this, and the only way to prevent it is to be sure that traders and users verify exchanges very well and then use high rated exchanges more.

Well it is a biggest scam until now. Many people have lost money when sending in this exchange. And I agree with you, you need to stay away from the newly created exchange. Most of them are scam and want to get all the money from investors

This exchange is marked with a sign on coinmarketcap, so I believe it is really a scam exchange. Thank you for mentioning that and I hope people would be aware next time by using BiteBTC. As far as I know no actions were made to recover user funds?

I've seen so many complaints about this Bitebtc exchange labeled as scam.  This scam by some exchanges has to stop, that's the more reason why people should stop using non-reputable exchanges. Some people will see all these scam alerts and still deposit funds there, we have to be cautious of exchanges we use honestly.

Many people have raised alarm about bitebtc being scam, it's well. We all have to be really careful in crypto space, even though I haven't used the exchange but I believe many will still fall victim. Let's not leave bulk of our funds in exchanges, use private wallet, it's safer that way. Also don't just use any exchange, use credible exchanges with high trust ratings like Binance, Bittrex, Coinbase, Okex, Huobi, Kucoin etc

I think that it is necessary to determine the exact criteria by which you can identify a fraudster.  If you search for information on the bitcointalk forum, it becomes clear that there are quite a lot of dissatisfied users who complain about even the most popular trading exchanges and exchangers.  But these problems are not always massive.

I also advise you to be careful with the coinbene exchange .. I transferred my coin there (howdoo coin) and they, without announcing the reasons, closed the trade on this coin and in their chat there are many similar complaints

After reading a few of the comments here they are most definitely a scam exchange with the only goal to steal funds from their registered users that's why I think sticking with the reputed exchanges is always a good idea.

We really need to be very careful with some exchanges. I have learnt my lessons, which is to always keep my assets in my private wallet and that if i have any trade to make, i will have to transfer from my wallet at that same time and when there is need to withdraw my fund, it will be returned back to the wallet i have control over.

It is so sad that you have been scammed by this scam exchange, BiteBTC exchange. You have done a good job by making people aware of the exchange and cautioning them against such scammers in the market of cryptocurrency. I have also heard about the scam, BiteBTC exchange. It must have been scammed many traders. Authorities should take steps in punishing such scammers including BiteBTC Exchange.

I am really sorry to hear that, because I thought it is a good exchange. There are more and more exchanges that are turning to be scam nowadays and this is sad. We have now a flow of new users and we need less scams around us.

I haven´t heard about BiteBTC, why you used such small exchange. In a bad times you should avoid using risky crypto exchanges. Now it is also risky to use the biggest one Binance.

It's a useless exchange that has been flagged over time. My KYC too almost 8 months to be approved, during which the project I wanted to sell tremendously mooned and when I wanted to trade, they told me my account has been locked, they would later open it, fear didn't allow me make deposit after carrying out research about them. Their volume of trades are all fake. Avoid that exchange.

I'm sorry to hear that, indeed bitebtc exchange at first seemed interesting because crypto arbitaging was obviously very fast to make a profit last year, and there may be a lot of people tempted by this exchange, some people I see there are many who succeed made a withdrawal last year but maybe this is actually their scheme, so they deliberately let some and the rest be made victims. Last year I also wanted to try arbitrage, but doing kyc is very difficult, so I cancel it

I have set up an account on Bitebtc not long ago and it is easy to see the price of coins here is quite different from the price on Coinmarketcap. After I received 1 NEO airdrop from them, I exchanged NEO to BTT and withdrawn to my wallet, but after submitting, my money was deducted but there was no transaction in the withdrawal history, and I did not receive the money. It can be confirmed that this is a phishing site.

This is a very strange situation. I have never heard anything like it. Thank you for your message, sorry for your loss.

This space is littered with scammers from developers to participants and exchanges. One (Hibt) ran away with people’s fund last year. I am closely monitoring Dcoin. It exhibits some aura which makes me uncomfortable with leaving funds in the exchange
